Karen is braving the unseasonably cold weather to sell outdoors at the indoor Granville farmers market 🤨 this morning. The weather has been great for working inside this week,I can’t remember the last time we had snow on the ground this long in November,December,I’m sure the ski resorts are happy for a change! Thanks again to everyone who made this a great yr for us,you-all are what makes it all possible for us Have a great holiday season 🎄

We had some nice days for digging dahlias last week,we were able to take our time over four days and wound up with 50crates of tubers! Last year at this time we were lucky to have friends help do that job when I was getting ready for back surgery!so much ch better now!!! As soon as dahlias were done we had to get on to wreath making season,thanks once again to the Wasem family for the lovely frasier fir greens. We’ve gotten better over the yrs at dealing with evergreens ,last yr we started spraying with an antitranspirant (wilt pruf) that keeps plants from drying out and it really makes a difference. The Granville Thanksgiving Market is coming this Saturday morning which is always a big deal for us,getting three hours on a November morning to market what we make is kinda risky but we know Granville people come out rain or shine,I remember one yr we were making snowmen out of the icey stuff that was coming down! It’s been a great three weeks since the last market for us and it’s been so nice to get things cleaned up and organized! Thanks to Dennison University for getting us a couple interns for a few days. Jada and Bingwen got to transplant peonies,plant ranunculus and put some plastic sides on a hoophouse. Life is good,come out and see us with all the other great vendors Saturday!
