We have very expressional dogs which stems from high intelligence and inquisitive nature. Our dogs can work and also love on your children. We choose to display all of the truths here at DRP, education is key. Although this breed is not for everyone like some people would like to believe, they are a excellent breed choice for many families. The "pitbull" is the most common American dog breed and that's why we hear the most about them in today's media. "Pitbull" had simply become a general term in todays time. Just because a dog resembles the apbt does not make them the high driven strong willed APBT breed. Although the true combat APBT's are still being bred for fighting around the world today, they have been on the decline in recent history. The American Bully breed has been rising on a strong incline recently due to it's lack of drive/energy which allows easier ownership but also giving people the "image" of a hard dog. Unlike the APBT or American Working Red Dog, The bully is more of a designer dog that is not bred for working ability or function. To each their own preference for the APBT, Bully, or American Working Red Dog. This is pure passion for us and that is what separates us from most breeders. A mans money and ego destroys this breed and all breeds. DRP ensures a great quality of life for our dogs. We believe optimal canine quality of life over generations is embedded into the dogs genetics. We are 7 generations and 20 years into spoiling our dogs with healthy lifestyles. We are devoted to breeding only the absolute best U.K.C / A.D.B.A Working-Performance Sport American Pit Bull Terriers/ Working Red Dogs of the past & present incorporating our very own standards.
Here at DRP, we not only breed healthy quality dogs but our dogs are family. We are not a puppy mill operation and we operate on a small quality scale. Our dogs here play with our children, go to parks, go boating-swimming, travel, and are allowed in our home as part of the family. We not only advocate the breed but also the "Way Of Life" associated with this breed.
