Two little wild birds have become the most unexpected commuters in Sydney.
One morning, Dr. Jackie Dent noticed them sitting calmly on a train seat — not panicking, not trapped, just… riding like regular passengers. She worried at first, thinking they couldn’t find their way out.
But when she told the train guard, she learned the truth:
These birds ride the train every single day.
They hop on at one station, look for crumbs, then hop off at the next — and they even listen for the announcement to know when it’s time to leave.
Instead of flying miles across the suburbs, they’ve figured out the easiest commute. Smart, calm, and totally unfazed by the humans around them.
Now Jackie keeps an eye out for her feathered fellow travelers — the tiny birds who turned a busy train into their personal shuttle.
