The fame has gone to his tiny head. Since Biscuit's big debut on a few days ago, it's all "greenroom" this, and "where's my swag bag" that. It's almost as though he's forgotten he was just another unwanted puppy in a Tennessee shelter last week. Funny how those humble origins slip away so quickly for some of them. For most of them, actually — in all seriousness, their resilience is one of the most uplifting things about welcoming in a rescue. Even the toughest cases we've had bounce back and learn to trust again. With 9-week-olds like Biscuit, that process usually happens the second they land in their foster parent's arms. And this bold little stinker didn't miss a beat. Nothing rattles this challenge seeker for long. He's curious, smart, excited to explore, and impatient — he's ready to be a grownup so he can do all the fun stuff big dogs get to do. Biscuit will probably hit 45 to 50 lbs full grown, and he'll need an experienced family that will make sure he gets lots of training and exercise not just now but consistently throughout his life. He's a hound mix, and these guys tend to need plenty of mential stimulation plus at least 90 minutes of solid high octane exercise a day in addition to regular potty break type walks. His foster mom says: "Looking for a rambunctious four legged pal? Biscuit has a nose for adventure and the energy to pursue it. He'll leap over cardboard boxes to find his favorite toy and eagerly show off his puppy prowess in the playpen, no matter what size his playmates are. Biscuit is bright and food-motivated. He loves learning new tricks for treats and already knows sit, down, touch, and shake. He's also is starting to get the hang of his p*e pads, but still leaves his own little 'biscuits' behind sometimes. Incredibly playful, cuddly, and how can you deny his puppy-dog eyes and little snores, Biscuit will be the perfect companion for someone looking to add a feisty, fearless, curious adventurer to their family."
