🎃Peek-a-BOO! Felix & Frida want to meet YOU! 🎃

These two absolutely stunning 3-month-old siblings are ready to steal your heart! With their gorgeous white coats, adorable black noses, and irresistible personalities, Felix and Frida are as sweet as they are beautiful. 😻😻

They’re playful, affectionate, and full of kitten energy. You can find them holding court Bushwick Bark in Ridgewood, waiting for their forever families!

💕 We’d LOVE to see Felix and Frida adopted together, but separate adoptions are possible if there’s already a feline friend at home.

Caspian the cow cat needs a foster or adopter!

Caspian is a 2 year old FIV+ boy who is a total sweetie. He showed up in a backyard very skinny, and the kind people who were feeding him brought him indoors to be fixed and vaccinated. He is playful and social, loves to nap and lounge with you, and enjoys sitting by the window looking out at the world 🐦‍⬛🌤️ He is an easy cat who is happy as long as he has his good window views and cozy nap spots on the couch! He really loves human company and would do best with an adopter or foster who can spend time at home with him. He loves hanging out in groups too and purrs so loudly when spending time with his people! 😻

There is a sense of urgency for a foster or adopter due to a roommate not wanting multiple cats in the apartment with a current resident cat. If you would like to adopt or foster Caspian submit an application at the link in bio, or if you know someone who would love him please share this post!

A little opening in a backyard wall was the only home a young orange mama had for her 4 kittens. To find food, Tournesol was crossing the dangerous bustle of Bushwick Avenue & then crossing back to feed her babies. 💔

Neighbors began feeding the family & slowly earning mama cat’s trust. Her hisses soon gave way to accepting pets. Before a big storm, 3 households worked together to build them a shelter, but after seeing mama cross that dangerous street with pigeons & rats to try & feed her kittens, one caretaker knew they needed more than that. The whole family was coming inside.

We helped get them settled & arranged a visit to to treat the kittens for dehydration, fleas & worms + vet their very thin young mama. It was there that a microchip revealed another part of her story. The microchip was traced back to Bushwick Street Cats, who knew mama cat as Ivy. They had already trapped, spayed & microchipped her soon before! When the vet noted she was lactating, they returned her promptly so she could reach her kittens, never knowing where those babies were or what became of them.

Now they finally knew… she made it back to her babies! All 4 kittens were now safe & the entire family was indoors. Her caretaker named her Tournesol, French for sunflower. 🌻 Thanks to caring neighbors & 2 rescue groups, this young mother finally had food, warmth & somewhere safe to raise her babies. 💗

Meet Scarlett, a 7-month-old starlet with juuust a smidge of feisty charm. If you get an adorable little “hello hiss” when you first meet her, rest assured, she’s not antisocial. This is just her way of saying, “Hi, I’m Scarlett, I’m extremely cute, I run this place… and who the heck are you?!”

Don’t worry, she softens up quickly once she’s sized you up, and you’ll fall in love with her curious, silly personality just as fast.

POV: your life is a tabula rasa and you’re about to fill it with two kittens 📝✨

Meet Tabula Rasa (tabby, F) and Reem (tuxedo,M), 10 weeks old and already the duo of all time.

Tabula is a pretty pretty princess, professional lap warmer. Her purr is so loud it should come with a noise complaint. Her favorite hobby is disappearing into her gray p**f bed and refusing to elaborate and chilling with you and a tall glass of w**e.

Reem showed up in a tux because he knew this was his moment. Brave little explorer, lives at the top of the cat tree, and will do literally anything for a Churu. A food-motivated king. Ate and left no crumbs, every single time.

✅ Gets along with other cats (they’re besties with their foster’s grown-up cat)

🎉🐴 IT’S OFFICIAL: ROMANCH’S LAW HAS PASSED! 🐴🎉

Today, the NYC Council voted to END horse-drawn carriages in New York City. 🗳️✅

After DECADES of fighting, failed bills, and too many lives lost, New York has finally said: no more. 💪

Here’s what Romanch’s Law does:
🚫 No new carriage licenses, starting now
🐎 Carriages off NYC streets by June 1, 2028
🤝 A transition plan for carriage workers

🚂 All aboard the Choo-Choo express! Next stop: FOREVER HOME! ❤️

Meet Choo-Choo, a sweet, shy 2-year-old boy who was found abandoned near train tracks. He’s had a rough start, but this little guy is slowly discovering how wonderful life can be!

Choo-Choo’s foster family affectionately calls his habit of watching the world from a safe distance “gargoyling.” 😂 But once he feels comfortable, his playful personality comes out! He loves wand toys, cardboard boxes, and especially other cats. He’s even been known to follow his younger foster sister around like a lovestruck teenager. ❤️

Choo-Choo is still learning to trust people, so he’s looking for a quiet home with a patient, experienced adopter who will let him blossom at his own pace. A friendly feline companion would be a big plus!

This special boy may take a little extra time to come out of his shell, but watching him discover his confidence is its own reward. 🥹
