OUR MISSION STATEMENT:
The purpose of this endeavor is to aid unfortunate animals in the interest of a h

igher quality of life. We take in rescued, confiscated, neglected, injured, ill, unmanageable, or otherwise unwanted animals from private owners, zoos, shelters, and other public organizations. These animals are cared for, and/or rehabilitated to the best of our ability and means until which time they can be found healthy, happy homes - whether it be through adoption to qualified candidates or legally released into habitats suitable to the specific species in conjunction with licensed wildlife rehabilitators. Sean Casey Animal Rescue is a very special place. Part Rescue Shelter, part adoption center and part community center. This is no ordinary shelter. It’s not very big and it’s not very fancy, but what Sean Casey Animal Rescue lacks in size and style, is made up for tenfold by the people who work here and the size of the heart that beats within the shelter walls. Sean Casey Animal Rescue is a no kill shelter. Arriving here is the beginning of an animal’s journey to their forever home. Through the efforts of our staff and volunteers we offer care and compassion to each and every animal in our shelter. “Hi hì hi! I’m Marzipan — six months old, fluffy, wiggly, and officially the first puppy surrendered from that house with way too many dogs. The moment I arrived, the humans said, “Oh no... she’s going to be a menace,” and honestly? They’re right.
I’m a puppy! Causing mischief is literally my job.
I’m sweet, playful, chaotic in the fun way, and ready to turn someone’s home into my personal playground. Socks? I’ll steal them. Toys? I’ll destroy them lovingly. Quiet time? Never heard of her.
But I also give the best kisses, do the cutest little prances, and melt into your arms like warm cookie dough. I’m trouble... but adorable trouble.
All I need now is a family who’s ready for a goofy, spirited, wildly lovable puppy to bounce into their life and never stop entertaining them.

“Hi... I’m Dillon. I’m five years old, very small, very sweet, and—if I’m honest-still trying to make sense of this whole “normal life” thing.
I came from a home in Georgia where there were thirty-five Chihuahuas. Yep. Thirty-five. Every day was basically a tiny dog version of “The Hunger Games.” If you’re wondering why I’m on the skinny side.. well, imagine battling 34 siblings for dinner. I did my best.
When that home was raided, we were all taken somewhere safe, and eventually I caught a ride up to NYC. Now I’m here, looking for a calm, loving place to finally relax.
I adore people-like, seriously adore them. I melt for attention, cuddles, and gentle voices.
But... the leash?
What is that thing?
Why do humans tug on it?
Why does it follow me everywhere??
I’m learning, but it’s confusing. I probably never wore one before, so go slow with me, okay?
The vet here says I’m in decent shape now-just skinny with grade 2 dental disease, which means I’ll most likely need a dental cleaning sometime soon (they say those can be pricey, so be prepared!). Some brushing and chewing might help a bit in the meantime.
What I really want is a home where I can feel safe, loved, and never have to compete with three dozen Chihuahuas ever again.
If you’ve got room in your heart for a gentle little survivor who just wants to be held, I’m right here waiting. 🐾💖”

Someone found me wandering the streets all by myself and brought me to the shelter. I waited and waited for my family to come get me, but no one ever did. So now I’m officially on the lookout for a brand-new family to love.
Yes, I can be a little yappy — but honestly, can you blame me? I’m fun-sized! I’ve gotta make sure the world hears me before someone accidentally steps over me. Plus, l’ve got a lot of feelings and I believe in expressing them.

Can you guys believe that sweet Parmeson isn’t even a hound, but a poodle mix!! We were shocked to believe it as well. She’s just the sweetest thing and has spent her entire puppyhood at the shelter. All of her siblings have found homes already and now she’s the last one. She’s a happy go-lucky-pup who can’t wait to find her forever family. Let’s not let her have to celebrate her 1-year birthday here at the shelter. We can’t wait until this sweatheart finds the perfect place to go soon.

A little message from Parmeson herself: “Hi everyone, it’s me — Parmeson!
I’ve been at the shelter since I was just a teeny 3-month-old, and all
this time everyone thought I was a hound mix. Which is cool and all… but
then one of my adopted sisters got a DNA test and—drumroll please—we’re
actually POODLE MIXES!
That’s right. I’m fancy now. ✨
Suddenly I feel… fluffier? More sophisticated? Slightly curly on the
inside? I don’t know, but I’m choosing to believe this is a glow-up.
I’m 8 months old, sweet as can be, enthusiastic about life, and a big
girl who still has some growing to do. I love people, love fun, and
really love the idea that being a “poodle mix” might finally help me
catch someone’s eye.
I’ve watched all my siblings get adopted one by one, and I’m still here
smiling, tail wagging, hoping my turn is next.

I’m a 4-year-old long-haired calico with the softest fur and the prettiest patches—if I do say so myself. I came all the way from a shelter in Georgia, and I’ve been waiting patiently for someone to notice just how special I am.

I absolutely live for affection. If you sit down, I’m already there. Pet me once and I’ll lean right in, purring like a little motor that won’t turn off. I love attention, gentle scratches, warm laps, and being told how gorgeous I am (I never get tired of hearing it).

1 ended up in a crowded kill shelter down in Georgia, and even though I tried my best to shine, no one picked me. So I packed my bags (okay, your humans packed them for me) and hit the road to NYC for my second chance — and here I am, ready to meet you!
Let me be honest: I’m sweet, affectionate, and I LOVE people...
