🚨🐾 URGENT – PUPPY COLA NEEDS HELP! 🐾🚨

Trina & Friends is currently working on a plan for Puppy Cola . This sweet puppy has been euthanasia listed for medical reasons and desperately needs a chance.

Medical Notes:
• Sweet puppy
• Very active
• Head tilt to the right
• Spins to the left
• Needs to get out of the shelter ASAP!

No puppy should lose her life because she needs medical care. Cola deserves the opportunity to receive proper diagnostics, treatment, and the chance to grow up in a loving home.

As many of you know, we currently have numerous medical dogs in our rescue, and taking on another special-needs case is a huge commitment. But when we see a puppy fighting to live, it’s impossible to turn away without trying.

Please help us give Cola a chance. Your donations will help cover rescue pull fees, transport, boarding, diagnostics, veterinary care, and everything she will need on her journey to safety.

💙 Every dollar helps and every share matters.
💙 Please donate if you can and help us save Cola before it’s too late.

Meet Smiley! ☀️❤️

Smiley is a 5–6 month old puppy currently being fostered in Peekskill, NY and is looking for her forever home.

This sweet girl has already overcome more than any puppy should have to endure. When she entered a Texas shelter, staff believed she may have been dragged by a car due to the injuries she had to her back legs. Thankfully, those injuries have healed, and Smiley has shown everyone just how resilient and determined she is.

Despite her difficult past, Smiley is full of love and has never let her circumstances define her. She is a happy, affectionate puppy who enjoys being around people and is ready to leave her past behind and start the next chapter of her life with a family of her own.

Smiley is good with dogs but no cats. She would thrive in a home that will continue her training, socialization, and give her the structure and patience every young puppy needs. At just 5–6 months old, she is at the perfect age to bond deeply with her new family and grow into an amazing lifelong companion.

We fought hard to save Smiley, and now all she needs is someone willing to give her the forever home she deserves. Watching her transform from an injured shelter puppy into the beautiful, thriving girl she is today has been incredible, and we know her best days are still ahead of her.

If you’re interested in adopting Smiley, please fill out an application through Trina & Friends K9 Rescue. ⬇️

Animal ID 26-11369 (Calvin) is finally safe out of the shelter, but just look at the condition this poor boy was left in. It breaks my heart and honestly makes me angry. Why do people get dogs only to neglect, abuse, and fail them?

Calvin is completely shut down right now. He is terrified, confused, and doesn’t know who he can trust. Whatever he has endured has left him scared of the world around him. But the one thing Calvin has now is a chance.

With time, patience, and love, he will learn that not all humans are cruel. He will learn what it feels like to be safe, cared for, and loved. His journey to healing starts now, and we are committed to showing him that his life matters.

Please keep Calvin in your thoughts as he begins this new chapter. ❤️🐾

Bogey was surrendered by his family after an alleged bite incident. The claim is that he bit someone on the buttocks while they were entering the yard. We do not know the full circumstances surrounding what happened, and shelter notes can never tell the complete story.
What we do know is the dog standing in front of us today.
Bogey is a young 2-year-old Shepherd/Malinois mix currently being fostered in Bayville, NJ. Since leaving the shelter environment, he has shown himself to be a sensitive, affectionate, and loving boy who enjoys being around people and does well with other dogs. Cats are currently unknown.
Bogey is incredibly smart, eager to learn, and very receptive to training. Like many working breeds, he will need a knowledgeable adopter who understands Shepherds and Malinois-type dogs and is committed to continuing his training and providing the structure he thrives on. In the right hands, Bogey has the potential to become an amazing companion and partner.
We cannot say enough good things about this boy. He simply needs the right person willing to see him for who he is and give him the opportunity he deserves. Not every dog is for every home, but we truly believe Bogey's person is out there.
If you're experienced with the breed and looking for a loyal, intelligent, and devoted companion, Bogey may be the dog you've been waiting for.

Before anyone comments about why Calvin is in a crate, please understand that he is absolutely terrified and completely shut down right now. The crate is being used for his safety and to help him feel secure during this transition.

Calvin has been through so much and will need time to decompress, learn to trust, and realize that he is finally safe. His journey is just beginning, but his life is about to change for the better. One day at a time, sweet boy. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who donated to help make his rescue possible. If you pledged for Calvin, please honor your pledge so we can continue saving dogs like him.

Update on Alaska - A1286162 ❤️

Just look at that smile! Alaska is settling in nicely with his foster in Connecticut after making it out of Dallas Animal Services. This handsome senior still has some medical care ahead of him, but he is finally getting the love, comfort, and attention he deserves.

For now, he’s enjoying the beautiful weather, soft beds, good food, and the simple joy of being safe. After everything he’s been through, seeing him relax and enjoy life makes it all worthwhile.

Senior dogs are so often overlooked, yet they have so much love left to give. We’re grateful Alaska was given a second chance and can’t wait to continue sharing his journey with all of you.

Do you all remember 14-year-old senior Cina, who was brought into the Fort Worth Shelter in Texas? ID

Well, we’re happy to share that Cina is now safely in New Jersey with Linda, one of our incredible fosters. When we asked if she could take Cina in, Linda simply said, “Send her over, and she can stay here until her time comes.”

For a senior dog who has been through so much, there is no greater gift than a warm bed, a loving home, and someone willing to love her through her golden years.

A huge thank you to Allison and Scott in Texas for fostering and caring for Cina before her journey north, and a very special thank you to Wings of Rescue for flying her safely to the Northeast.

It truly takes a village to save these dogs, and because of so many compassionate people, Cina will never have to spend another day in a shelter. ❤️🐾

🚨 PLEASE DON’T LET FEAR BE THE LAST THING CALVIN KNOWS 🚨

📍 SEAACA, California
Animal ID 26-11369 (Calvin)

By some miracle, Calvin is still alive.

Look at this boy. He won’t even lift his head. He sits curled up in the corner of his kennel, terrified of the world around him. He isn’t showing aggression. He isn’t asking for anything. He’s simply shut down.

We don’t know what Calvin has endured in his life, but it is clear that this sweet boy has known fear, uncertainty, and heartbreak. No dog should spend their final days like this.

Trina & Friends is working on a plan to save Calvin, but we need your help. We need support for boarding, veterinary care, and transport to the Northeast so this beautiful boy can have the chance to decompress, feel safe, and finally learn what love looks like.

Please help us show Calvin that not all humans will let him down.

Every donation matters.
Every share matters.
Every life matters.

Please don’t let fear be the last thing Calvin knows. ❤️

🐾 Meet Deacon! 🐾

Deacon was brought to For Pet’s Sake Veterinary Clinic in Glens Falls, NY by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, and now this handsome young Shepherd mix is searching for the forever family he deserves.

At just about 2 years old, Deacon is an incredible dog with so much love to give. He is great with kids, good with other dogs, and has a wonderful personality that wins people over quickly. He is affectionate, loyal, and ready to be someone’s best friend.

Like many rescue dogs, Deacon has experienced changes and uncertainty in his life. He does have some separation anxiety, but with patience, consistency, and understanding, it can be managed successfully. The most important thing to remember is that rescue dogs need time to decompress, learn to trust, and adjust to a new environment. We may never know everything Deacon has been through, but we do know that he deserves a family willing to give him the chance he’s been waiting for.

Right now, Deacon is spending his days at a veterinary clinic, but what he truly needs is a home a couch to curl up on, a family to love, and a place where he can finally feel safe and secure.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion and are willing to give a deserving dog the time and commitment he needs, Deacon may be the perfect match for you.

❤️ Please help us find Deacon the forever home he deserves.

Meet Cinnamon! ❤️🐾

Cinnamon made the journey from Baldwin Park Shelter in California and is now being fostered in Saugerties, NY while she waits for her forever family. She is close to a year old and is an incredibly sweet, happy girl with an amazing personality. Cinnamon loves people, does great with kids, and enjoys being around other dogs. However, she is definitely not cat-friendly, so a home without cats is a must.

Cinnamon is a high-energy young dog who will thrive with an active family that can keep her physically and mentally engaged. She loves life and doesn’t let anything slow her down. Cinnamon does have hip dysplasia and will be seeing Dr. Hart at Guardian Veterinary Specialists for an evaluation. She is currently on Myos Formula and Galaprant to help support her mobility and comfort.

Please don’t let her hips stop you from considering adoption—it certainly doesn’t stop Cinnamon! She runs, plays, loves life, and wakes up every day with a smile. She deserves a family who will see beyond her diagnosis and give her the loving home she’s been waiting for.

If you’re interested in adopting Cinnamon, please fill out an application:
