Rescue Right Rescue Right is dedicated to helping desperate, forgotten dogs and cats, providing veterinary care, a safe haven and adoption services. Join us!

We also offer free temporary care for pet owners in distress. Rescue Right is unlike any other organization of its kind. We rescue dogs and cats and find permanent new homes for each one, but we also provide free temporary pet boarding for pet owners in distress and provide superb shelter services for local municipalities. We do it all with love, commitment and a smile. We welcome volunteers, adopters and visitors.

Happy Adoptaversary to Bim, a special needs dog that was saved by the Candice and Noah Feinberg Foundation. I had the privilege of caring for Bim and finding him an amazing home. Bim’s new life, full of adventure, security and love, was made possible by good people working together. We are so thankful to his adopters, who met him and knew he was meant to be theirs. Another amazing adoption!

Meet Luke;
Luke used to live a comfortable life as a beloved pet. His owner’s death destroyed that life, and poor Luke has no idea what happened to him. His soulful eyes tell a story of loneliness, confusion and heartbreak. He looks for his person in every stranger.
Luke will do best in a calm home. At only 8 years old, he’s got a lot of love left to give. Luke is healthy and has no medical problems.
If you’ve ever wanted to change a life, Luke is waiting. You can be the second chance this deserving dog never saw coming. Please share Luke’s story.

That’s didn’t take long!! Finn, adopted this morning, has made himself right at home. His new family said “it’s like having a dog instead of a cat”, because Finn is a Velcro pet. He even loves their adorable one-year old son. Pretty good for an unwanted street cat! Happy tails, from all of us at Rescue Right.😻

My heart breaks for this woman and her family.

My heart breaks for this woman and her family.

💔 Our hearts were heavy to hear of the passing of Mikayla Raines, the founder of Saveafox Corporation. While we did not know her personally, we’ve long admired her work and the passion she poured into rescuing and advocating for animals. Her loss is deeply felt and has sent shockwaves through the rescue community.

Moments like this remind us how vital it is to have a strong support system—friends, family, and fellow rescuers who understand the weight of this work. Rescue is beautiful, but it is also brutal. The emotional toll, financial strain, constant fundraising, and personal sacrifices are overwhelming enough—and yet, far too often, the deepest wounds aren’t from strangers, but from others within the rescue community itself.

Online bullying is real. And it’s not just the anonymous commenters behind a keyboard—it can come from people who should be allies in this work. That has to stop.

We may not all agree on every method or approach, but one thing most of us share is that we are doing this from a place of passion and selflessness. Rescue is hard. Loss is constant. And when we tear each other down, we only make an already difficult road even harder.

Let this be a reminder: be kind. Lift each other up. Encourage the new ones in this field. Remember what it was like when you started—how much you had to learn, how many mistakes you made. Offer grace. Offer help. And if you are struggling, please know: you are not alone.

To everyone out there working through baby season, exhausted and overextended—thank you. Thank you for staying up all night for the weak and the orphaned. Thank you for giving your time, your sleep, and your finances to help the voiceless. Your work matters. You matter. If this was easy, everyone would do it—but they don’t. You are rare. You are needed.

**And please—don’t be afraid to hit the DELETE, HIDE, or BLOCK button on Facebook and Instagram. I do it daily. You have every right to protect your peace. You’ve worked too hard to build something meaningful to let the noise of negativity slow you down.**

If there's ever a way our team can help—whether it’s advice, support, or just someone to listen—please don’t hesitate to reach out. We are here for you.

Lastly, during our LIVE this Friday, we’ll be sharing a donation link to support their nonprofit. Let’s honor her legacy by helping keep her incredible work and memory alive.

With respect and solidarity,
Stephanie Brady
Founder/Executive Director
