We service 19 communities in Westchester County including Ardsley, Dobbs Ferry, Elmsford, Greenburgh, Harrison, Hartsdale, Hastings-on-Hudson, Irvington, Larchmont, Town of Mamaroneck, Village of Mamaroneck, Mount Vernon, New Rochelle, Pelham, Pelham Manor, Port Chester, Rye Brook, City of Rye and Tarrytown. How You Can Help:

• Donate funds to help us keep the shelter running
• Join our Foster Ca

re Program and open your
home and heart to a shelter animal in need of TLC
• Become a volunteer and assist with a variety of
much needed jobs at the shelter.
• Donate blankets, towels, canned foods, pet toys, etc.
• Include the Humane Society as a beneficiary

FOSTER FRIDAY: Our sweet German Shepherd JOJO is one of our long-stay shelter dogs, but that didn’t stop her from stepping into her role as our official doggie ambassador at a recent event in Port Chester!

With her amazing foster mom by her side, Jojo met so many wonderful people, soaking up attention, making new friends, and showing everyone just what a special girl she is.

Jojo has been waiting far too long. She has so much love to give and deserves a forever family of her own.

“Spats, (formerly BANJO), is officially 18 years old. Happily, he plans to continue living with his parents. He was adopted in 2008 from Humane Society of Westchester along with his sister Sofia (formerly GUPPY), who passed away in June. Thanks to HSW for enhancing thousands of lives with the loving pets they provide to families decade after decade.”
