Just an adorable girl and her tennis ball. Brioche was on deadline plea because she had a bum ear. We scooped her up and with the amazing care of Best Care Animal Hospital and the team at the shelter, this girl is ready for her forever home!! She’s 5 years young. Loves to play catch. Loves to snuggle. She’s an angel! Brioche would like you to come throw the tennis ball on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays 12p-4p. ❤️🐾. She quite the “catch” 😉.

Lucky is a sly guy! He is so sweet and smart. He’s a big mush of love. Not one person has asked to meet Lucky. He’s been with us since January. If you’re looking for a 80lb lap dog, we have your man. He’s 7 years old, gives great kisses and is waiting patiently for his forever home. We are open Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday 12p-4p. Stop in and fall in love ❤️🐾

About a week and a half ago, we answered a rescue plea from Pasco County Animal Services, Momma Cooper and the Crazy 8's!
We need the community's help! Momma is unfortunately heartworm positive 😪. Once the pups are completely weaned, she will start her heartworm treatments. Momma is the sweetest girl and so resilient, everything she has been through, and she is filled with nothing but love!
Thank you to Trinity Oaks Pet Wellness Center for all their help with raising money for Momma and the Crazy 8's and checking out one of her babies this week!

Some days shelter work is heartbreaking and defeating. Mr. Boris crossed the rainbow bridge today. He was a pupster that came to us in kidney failure. He was the sweetest, most gentle little soul. We took him to the most amazing veterinarians at Best Care Animal Hospital. At the time there wasn’t much to do for him, just show him love, keep
him safe and make him feel as good as we could. And that we did. In the end, he knew what love was and sometimes that’s all we can do.

At the same time we’re having to say goodbye to Bor is, Charles decided to dump his cat over our fence. Charles read the sign that we states we were closed. Charles read the sign telling him not to dump animals. Charles dumped a black cat in a carrier in full sun, not even near our entrance. Charles didn’t put water or food in the carrier. Charles didn’t ring the bell on the gate to try to reach us. Charles didnt know if or when his cat would be seen. Charles could care less. Karma Charles.

Our girl Rozie was so excited about all the fun donations Club Wildwood community collected for her and the other pets at the shelter. Meet Boris. This gentle soul was rescued from CIlitrus County Animal Services. He was going to be euthanized because he has kidney disease. Boris has the most incredible personality. He is so calm. Doesn’t mind other dogs. He has a 6 month old puppy at the shelter that is smitten with him 🥰. He loves to be pet, sit on you lap or right next to you. He is a prefect boy.
Boris does have kidney disease. The wonderful Dr. Parenton at Best Care Animal Hospital just examined him today. He is not neutered, nor do they recommend putting Boris through that. He is eating well, currently on Hills K/D (kidney health diet). This guy just deserves to have a home full of love for his remaining time.
We are looking for a foster family that would like to help Boris and provide him with all kinds of love. We will provide his food and medical care. We just want to get him out of the shelter and into a loving home.
If you feel you can provide that for Boris please call SPCA Suncoast of West Pasco to set up a meet and greet.
Boris is a 26lb Poodle mix. He’s only about 7 years old. He deserves so much more than the hand he’s been dealt.
We pray someone can open their heart and their home to this sweet gentleman ❤️🐾

Sweetest boy Neville was all ready to go home tomorrow and now he’s not 💔. Come and meet this most special boy who deserves the world. He would be best as the only pet. He is so amazing and just needs someone to love him and help build his confidence.
