We also hold tight to the miraculous stories of hope and the heroic rescues and joyful reunions that proved just how deeply our community loves its animals. Generally, hamsters are solitary creatures and may exhibit aggression toward other hamsters. Not all hamster species are suitable for group housing and should not be kept together. They are not inherently social animals and thrive better when kept individually.

When hamsters encounter each other for the first time, they instinctively establish a hierarchy where one becomes dominant over the others, potentially leading to aggressive behavior. Pet hamsters also prefer solitary living, which sets them apart from other rodents.

With time and effort, most hamsters can develop a bond with their owners and enjoy spending time outside their cages. However, it is important to ensure the safety of your hamster by keeping other pets, such as cats or dogs, out of the room during these interactions.🐹😉
