Meet Nox — a beautiful young pup who came to see us recently feeling under the weather with an upset tummy. She wasn't feeling her best, but after a check-up and some TLC from our team, she was back to her happy, tail-wagging self in no time!

There’s something extra special about a handsome black kitten—and Salem certainly has that magic. 🖤

Salem’s parents brought him to LocalVet Urgent Care NOLA when they discovered he had tapeworms. We were happy to give this sweet boy the care he needed and help get him back on the road to feeling his best.

We believe caring for pets is about more than treating an illness. It’s about taking the time to care for each patient, support their families, and be there for our local community when they need us.

Meet Blue, the most handsome black Lab who learned the hard way that some things are better left in the jewelry box!

Blue decided Mom’s black diamond ring looked like the perfect snack and swallowed the whole thing!

Fun fact: Diamonds don’t show up on X-rays! 😳💎 That meant Dr. Clement and the LocalVet team had to do some detective work to figure out exactly what Blue had gotten himself into.

Thankfully, Blue had his best girl Julia by his side and got the care he needed!

We love our patients… even when they have VERY expensive taste! 😂

🐾 A New Orleans Name for One Sweet Little Pup! 💙

Some of our patients leave a lasting impression—and Tchoupitoulas is definitely one of them! ✨

Named after one of New Orleans' most iconic streets, this adorable little Pomeranian brought plenty of charm with him when he visited LocalVet Urgent Care for a limp. While he wasn't feeling his best, he was as sweet as could be and made everyone who met him smile.

We're especially loving this photo of Tchoupitoulas with our incredible Dr. Clement! It's moments like these that remind us why we love what we do—helping pets feel better while building relationships with the families who trust us with their care.

One Handshake Was All It Took to Win Our Hearts ❤️

Meet Drake

Some patients have a way of making everyone smile the moment they walk through our doors—and Drake was definitely one of them!

Drake came to see us at LocalVet Urgent Care after his family noticed he was feeling lethargic and had dark-colored urine. While our team focused on getting him the care he needed, Drake focused on winning everyone's hearts.

With the cutest face, impeccable manners, and the sweetest little handshake, he greeted every team member like a true gentleman. It's safe to say he quickly became everyone's favorite, and we all agreed—Drake is simply the best dog!!

We're so grateful his family trusted us to care for him when he wasn't feeling his best. Moments like these remind us how special it is to care for the incredible pets in our community.
