This week, we honor the shelter workers, volunteers, and foster families who show up day after day — sometimes in difficult conditions, often without fanfare — to care for animals who need them most.
You feed them. You comfort them. You tend to their wounds and their fears. You give them names, warm beds, and the chance to trust again. Because of your hands and your hearts, countless cats and dogs find safety, healing, and ultimately, a family to call home.
