Meet Sadie ! She came to us after years as an Amish breeding dog. And it turned out she was pregnant again; surprise !! 🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶

With her five pups now headed to their furever homes, it’s time for Sadie to retire and enjoy life !

Sadie is very sweet and loving, walks well on a leash and enjoys just hanging out with people. Sadie is about 6 years old, she likes other dogs but not fond of cats.

Please fill out an application on our website if you’d like to give our wonderful Sadie a loving home.

Petey !! ❤️

Thanks to his great foster mom, Petey is crate trained, house trained and learning sign language for commands. He’s cute and smart !!

Petey is ready to light up someone’s new year with his silly, fun, spunky personality. We’re waiting for his DNA results so put in your guesses!

Only apply for Petey if you want a snuggle bug in your bed and on your couch and you also love to laugh and have a good time. He is also very happy to help you get your 10K daily steps goal in with a skip in your step and big smile on yoir face. If you prefer a lounge lizard dog, that’s cool… but Petey wants you to move more, stress less and laugh a lot in the new year. Since he’s deaf, he also requires a little extra patience to show him and communicate non verbally (he understands a few sign language hand signals) and all dogs require 💯 commitment. Feel free to comment with questions since he’s in foster care we’ve gotten to know him well 🥰Serious applications only via ☮️🩵🐶

New Year’s Fireworks, Pet Safety Reminder!

Fireworks are one of the biggest reasons pets go missing this time of year. Even calm, well-trained dogs and cats can panic when loud, unexpected noise starts. The best thing you can do is bring pets inside before fireworks begin, not after they start. Make sure all doors, gates, and windows are secured, and keep dogs on a leash for late-night potty trips, even if you have a fenced yard.

Creating a quiet interior space with lights, TV, or music playing can help reduce stress. It’s also important that pets are wearing collars with ID and that microchip information is current. Even better if they have GPS tracking collars! Please never leave pets outside during fireworks, even if they normally tolerate noise.

If a pet does go missing, do not chase, do not call loudly, and do not send large groups searching right away. That usually causes them to run farther.

Please share this so fewer pets go missing tonight.

Have a safe and happy New Year!!!
