Senior cats are so easy to overlook.

People walk past them because they want kittens, more years, more energy, more “new beginning.”

But a senior cat still wants the same simple things.

A warm place to sleep.
Gentle hands.
A safe routine.
Someone who sees them as worth choosing.

Sometimes the cat who needs you most is the one sitting quietly at the back, waiting for someone to notice.

Hey everyone. Wyatt has had a pretty good week. We spent a lot of time out in the yard where he is most comfortable. He spent most of his time playing fetch, which he loves. He also got a new Frisbee, which he kept trying to share with Delaney. He also played with Cassie some on leash. You all know it's been hot. When it’s like that, Delaney will play a little, then she likes to chill. Wyatt will annoy the crap out of her until she plays with him some more, LOL. At certain times of the day, there are very limited shade spots out there. If Delaney is laying in one by the picnic table, he will try to get her to play until she gives in and chases him. He will run in a big circle and then go and steal her shade spot. Then she will chase him off of it and the whole game starts all over again. He makes me laugh SO much at some of the stuff he does. He is no dummy, that's for sure!

As you can see Alfie loves the water ! He also enjoys long walks and play time in the yard. This boy would play all day if he could !

Alfie is a smart, high-energy dog who would do best with an active owner and older kids. He’s got a sharp mind, making him both eager to work and quick to learn.

Alfie would love to be the one and only pet in the home. He has been through a lot and it would make his transition to a home environment easier.
