Neko just passed a milestone with us at Animal Rescue, Inc. He's been at our Sanctuary for Life for 4 years. That's 1,460 days without a home to call his own! Please help us share Neko's story so he can find his forever family.

Neko is a handsome, 5-year-old Husky who came to our Rescue in March 2021. He was found as a stray at a local vineyard and no one ever came to claim him. Neko is energetic, loving and fun -- a very typical Husky! He would enjoy an active home with adults -- children over 12 years old would be OK, too. Neko would make an excellent exercise buddy. He loves to explore with the dog caregivers here. A fenced-in yard would be ideal for Neko so he can run and play. Neko doesn't care for other animals and would prefer to be in a home all his own. If you love Huskies, Neko is your boy! Neko is neutered, microchipped, up to date on his vaccines and ready to go!

You’re not seeing double…we’ve got two orange kittens with us at the Bel Air Petsmart cat adoption center. The kittens are not related. Dottie is a 6 month old female, orange and white. Spaghetti is an all orange 4 month old male. They are both a lot of fun, and energetic. Both are vaccinated, microchipped and altered. Join us for our Doggie Egg Hunt happening Saturday, April 12, 2025! From 10AM to 12PM we'll be at the Marge Goodfellow Park (1 Playground Alley, New Freedom, PA) for the Doggie Egg Hunt! We'll have 5,000 treat-filled plastic eggs for your pups to hunt, plus photos with the Easter Bunny, pawprint art and raffle baskets! Preregistration is $12/dog. $15/dog at walkup. It’s Mikey Monday ! Mikey is an 8-month-old black lab/shepherd mix. He enjoys chewing bones, playing with other dogs, and going for walks. After burning off some energy, Mikey is happy to snuggle on the couch with his foster mom or dad. He's sweet, housebroken, and adapts well to his crate.
