Update: there's been 2 more clients come forward with same problems! Each one of my kittens are vet cleared with health certificates before they go home. Since this incident, everyone has stopped feeding this dry food, and they all have improved! The vet said being that there's been multiple ones i know of, and he's seen 3 this week with the same issues, different owners/catteries, this is NOT a "me" problem! This is is a purina problem.
We have started feeding Authority dry, and all the c***s are doing exceptionally well.

For the love of your Maine C**n, PLEASE!!! STOP FEEDING PURINA ONE KITTEN!!

Today, is the 2nd day in a row, ice gotten a call about a sick kitten after changing their food!!! Stop please!!!

Astra, went home Sunday. She was fine, until yesterday at 12 noon, when her owner decided to give her Purina ONE kitten to her. Within 15 minutes, she started throwing up the kibble uncontrollably. A few minutes later, she was lifeless, panting, and her gums very pale. I highly suspect that its the food, as nothing else was given to her, and this all happened right after. Fast forward 5 hours later, her body was able to recover, and today she's back to her normal self! There's a reason I feed pawtree! I know where its made, there are no junk fillers, etc! Maine C***s are a unique breed, who have sensitive stomachs!!

After today, if i ever see purina One kitten food, it will be too soon in my life! Your spending big $$ on your cat, spending $$ to feed them properly! It can mean life, or death!

I love questions, but I have a lot of other things going on too, to just give out a quick answer, and be ghosted because you don't like the amount required to take one home. I have had a lot of people message me and their only question is regarding pricing. I get this and I will answer any question I can for anyone. You can’t be faulted for not knowing what you don’t know. And I have never mind the first question being “how much” because to spend hours discussing a baby you can’t afford is a waste of both our time. But so everyone knows, a health tested Maine C**n will be a MINIMUM of $2500. If you find one cheaper that is not special needs or retired breeder, I beg you to approach with caution as it’s high risk for scammers. Don’t think it won’t happen to you. I talk to people who have been scammed frequently.

Also know that many breeders barely break even at this price so please don’t contact us with criticism regarding the price. Know that when you get a kitten, you’re also getting a piece of our heart but we don’t charge extra for that. 🥰🥰

My cattery IS my pride and joy. I and many other reputable breeders are in this for the right reasons.. to preserve the breed.

Momma Rose and Ruby welcomed 7 little rosebuds on October 14, 2025. They are purrfect!
4 red/orange boys, 3 little girls, all tortoiseshell! They will be ready for homes at the end of the year approximately.
