As we’re heading into fall, I wanted to put out is this up to date breed and price list.

I do not currently have full availability, but as everybody comes back into laying, these will be the breeds offered and the price point per dozen of eggs.

For the time being I primarily have Multi-Generational Olive dozens heading out along side “hens choice” dozens that are consisting of some variation of BCMs, Olives, Ameraucanas and Blue Laced Red Wyandottes. These dozens are being offered on a first come first serve basis through Patreon first and then on Facebook an Instagram. I’m not able to offer any other whole dozens at this time. I also do not have any silver Welsummer eggs going out right now.

For FAQs, breed information and additional photos please check out my website at: www.Mojohomesteadfl.com

Additionally, I’ve been continuing to update my albums on Facebook to include a good variety of both my breeding flocks as well as offspring and eggs produced by each.

Please also take note that beginning October 1st, 2026 I’ll be setting aside $10 from each dozen of eggs sold to purchase needed items that I’ll donate to our local domestic violence shelter. I really admire the work that Savannah has been doing in her community, and when I saw a flyer about our local shelter in the library, I was so excited to have found somewhere that I could also give back. This is an area that is very close to my heart, and I’m very grateful to have found a way to be of service in some capacity in my own community!

Thank you all for your continued support! 🫶🏻

She's one of my favorite people. Sharing and engaging keeps us all afloat!

Thank you

One of the biggest things I’ve had to learn is that homeschool doesn’t have to look like the school I grew up in. 🌿

We can do our math lesson, fill out our language arts pages…and then spend an hour reading a great book, talking about history, wandering outside looking at something we found, or following a completely unexpected rabbit trail.

It all counts.

And honestly, that freedom is becoming one of my favorite parts of homeschooling. 🤍

So, if you haven't noticed I share other folks pages and content often, well when I remember to.

This is one of my very best friends, the maid of honor in my upcoming wedding, and the one who keeps the hair on my head looking fresh & flawless.

I know a lot of you all homeschool your kiddos! I personally wish I could do the same for ours 😭

She's a truly wonderful person, mother, wife & friend.

Please give her page a follow ♡

Supporting one another is what truly helps us all grow and thrive here ✨️

One of the biggest things I had to unlearn when we started homeschooling:

School does NOT have to take 6 or 7 hours a day. 👏

When you’re teaching one child at home, you don’t have 25 kids to get settled, attendance to take, papers to pass out, bathroom lines, class changes, lunch lines, assemblies and all the other little things that fill a traditional school day.

A focused homeschool day can get a LOT done in just a few hours.

And honestly? I don’t count learning only when we’re sitting at the table with a workbook open.

Reading together counts.
Cooking counts.
Field trips count.
Building LEGO counts.
Logic puzzles count.
Nature walks count.
Taking care of animals counts.
Conversations in the car count.

If we’ve finished what we needed to accomplish for the day, I’m not adding busywork just so I can say we “did school” for a certain number of hours.

One of my favorite things about homeschooling has been realizing that education doesn’t have to look like school at home.

How long does a typical homeschool day take at your house?

Here's some favorites from the last week

Yes. Week....

No there's nothing wrong with your birds if you're noticing a drastic decline in egg production.

Half of mine are starting their first molts, some not laying yet, and the rest are part of my OG crew and just getting old.

Now back to the eggs in these pictures 🌈

Notice how drastic the color varies in natural direct sunlight versus in a more shaded area.

In my opinion they always kind of fall in the middle of the two.

I don't edit or filter my photos, there's simply no need to do so 😉

Anyway, much love to you all and as always thanks for being here 💕
