A NYE update!

My surgery has been pushed to Jan 16! Since I caught whatever awful crud is going around and gave it to Adam and Parker right before Christmas, they were unable to perform my surgery in December.

That being said, I’m using the little bit of time between now and then to prep my house and groom my own dogs (Lord knows they need it!) so that I can be relatively stress free during recovery. I’ll keep everyone updated on my progress during the recovery period too ❤️

Due to a complete ACL tear and a partial meniscus tear, I’ll be going into surgery on Dec 18! Dr says it’ll be at *least* 4-6 weeks before I can even attempt to go back to work. That means I’ll be out of commission for at least a month, possibly more. In the meantime, I’m referring all of my clients to either Rachel Collins or Sheena Drummond! They are both wonderfully talented groomers that will take care of your pups like their own ❤️ I’m tagging them in this post, feel free to message them for bookings!

Everyone who is booked until Dec 18th are fine! It’s just the appointments ✨after✨ that will need to be booked with one of the ladies tagged.

Hopefully I’ll be back on the sooner end of the spectrum! Say a prayer for an uneventful surgery and a swift recovery please ❤️

Just a heads up for my clients that are on FB! I was out a few days last week as Parker was sick with the chicken pox. Yep, at 7 months old he got chickenpox from who knows where! He’s much better now, and of course I overbooked myself this week to help catch up. I had also planned to do the same next week. Here’s the kicker…

I fell while mopping my house today. I was wearing Parker and thank God above he didn’t get hurt. I, however, did. The drs are thinking I have torn my left meniscus. An MRI next week will either confirm it or tell us the true culprit. I cannot bear weight on my left leg, I’m on crutches. That being said, I’m going to try and groom regardless. Dr says I shouldn’t, but I’m going to try to finish the week at the very least ❤️

Please bear with me (no pun intended LOL), I’m barely able to walk so I’ll be sitting while grooming. That means my groom times will be significantly longer than usual. I am going to try my hardest to keep from canceling appointments, but I cannot make any promises if I end up not improving next week 😭

My heart is full—what a wonderful first week back! 🐶💖
I was so busy loving on all my sweet pups that I totally forgot to get photos of everyone (classic me 😅). I was just so happy to see all those wagging tails again! Enjoy the few adorable snapshots I did manage to grab.

I’ve got just a few appointments left for the last week of June, and I’m now officially booking for July!
If your pup needs some TLC, now’s the time to grab a spot—I’d love to see you both soon! 💕✂️

I’m back and blown away!!
The response to my post has been overwhelmingly positive—thank you all so much for the love and support!

My first two weeks back are fully booked, and I’m so excited to see all your sweet pups again. If you’d like to get back on my schedule, please reach out ASAP so I can save your spot!

Now’s also the time to schedule recurring appointments—I’m getting the calendar organized and want to make sure no one misses out.

Hey y’all! Announcement Time!! 😎😎😎

It’s been a minute — and WOW, life has been busy in the best way possible! Adam and I are beyond excited to share that we welcomed our sweet baby boy, Parker, into the world on March 5th! We are head-over-heels in love and soaking up all the newborn snuggles!

As some of you know, I had taken a step back from grooming after accepting an amazing opportunity with Paragon Grooming School. It’s been an incredible experience and I’m so grateful for the memories and friendships made along the way!

BUT — life looks a little different now (hello, mom life!), and after lots of thought, I’m thrilled to announce that I’m coming back to grooming!
To keep things balanced for our little family, I’ll be grooming part-time — and I couldn’t be more excited to get back to doing what I love!

Here’s what’s happening:
• I’m reopening my books for small dogs only!
• Past clients will get first dibs — especially those wanting to book ahead!
• I’ll be grooming on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays — the days I have childcare lined up.
• There will be a tiny price increase to keep up with rising supply costs (thanks, inflation!), but nothing crazy — pinky promise!

For all of you who have been reaching out asking if I’d ever come back — THANK YOU for your support and patience. I’ve missed you all (and your adorable pups) so, so much, and I can’t wait to see you again! I just ask for a little grace as I balance grooming with my new adventure of being Parker’s mama!

I know it’s been a hot minute since I’ve posted, but everything is finally settling into a rhythm after a crazy summer! While I’m not grooming near as much as I was, I’m still at it part time so keep an eye out for some cute pic updates ❤️

Iren is due to whelp on the 19th (give or take a day or two). When she whelps is when that 2 weeks no grooming kicks in!

I’ve spoken with basically everyone about this, but just wanted to post a reminder. If your appointment falls within that two week mark, you will have to wait until your next appointment, or I can provide contact info for a fabulous friend of mine that has agreed to fit in the few clients I may have that don’t want to wait!

I’ll post when Iren starts labor, so that way everyone is apprised of the situation ❤️
