This handsome boy is a fun-loving, intelligent pup with a wonderful personality and so much potential for the right family.

✨ Hobo is:
• Friendly, curious, and affectionate
• Great with both dogs and cats
• Crate trained
• Doing well with housebreaking
• Clean and easy to live with
• Loves to play fetch and tug
• Food and social motivated
• Learning basic obedience including come, sit, down, and drop
• Familiar with marker word training and responds well to guidance
• Introduced to “wait”

Like many Huskies and Australian Shepherds, Hobo is a high-energy dog who will thrive in an active home. He’ll need regular physical and mental exercise through hiking, structured play, training, adventures, and other engaging activities.

Hobo can become a little pushy if boundaries are unclear, but with structure and leadership, he is extremely respectful and eager to follow direction. Overall, he is a very easy and enjoyable dog with a fantastic temperament…he simply needs an owner committed to meeting the needs of his breed mix.

Puppy homeschool day for Rosie!

Rosie is about 5 months old and we are starting to see all of the foundational conditioning we’ve done over the last few months really shine through.

She is a trifecta combo of poodle/aussie/bernese mountain dog. This means she is really cute and sweet, fluffy with striking markings- AND she has stamina, drive, brains, herding tendencies, is fiesty and opinionated.

Just to name a few skills we are able to work on in one session-

Leash walking
Recall
Generalization in multiple environments
Car manners
Discourage jumping
Rules and boundaries
Confidence building
Relaxation and decompression

🌸Poppie👑
There’s not much I enjoy more than a spunky little Aussie!!

Poppie has struggled with insecurity and reactivity, plus a really tough time settling anywhere other than home.

When a working breed lacks exercise and an outlet for drive, it’s bound to come out in less desirable behaviors. When owners deal with reactive and unpredictable dogs, it’s bound to create anxiety and make it difficult for them to exercise and socialize said dog.

We are building confidence and giving freedom to Poppie, showing her how to let loose and be a dog. She is on her way to a whole different outlook on life!

*Now we just need to get her mom set up with the tools to feel confident in any situation they come across. If you know her, you know how hard she is to wrangle😉😜

I had the privilege of joining Bonnie and her owner on a practice outing to work this week. We have trained and raised Bonnie with the intentions of her growing up to be a therapy dog. I am so fond of her and think she is perfectly suited for the job. Therapy work is not my expertise, but solid temperament mixed with clear intentional training makes it easy to go in any direction.

I can’t wait to see the joy she brings many people for many years to come. 🥹 🌸💜

Izzy is sailing along beautifully through her training. Here are some clips from our homeschool session and private lesson last week.

This young Shih Tzu is full of energy and drive. We are fulfilling her drive through tug and off leash exploration.

She has previously dealt with a lot of disruptive reactivity on leash-barking, lunging, growling at anything that moves. We are giving her opportunities to make dog friends on leash and have some fun afterwards to change the perception she has when seeing other dogs.

Izzy can be very squirrely around new people, so we are building her confidence with low pressure positive exposure with strangers.

We still have some big goals for her and she has come so far already!!🫶🏻🙌🏻

Closing out a big busy week with a rock solid line up!

I have really amazing dogs in training right now with some of the most committed owners ever!
Thank you for being willing to have fun, and trusting the process. 🫶🏻

🐾Finn the border collie is learning to cooperate with his owner while they start working towards off leash freedom.

🐾Phinny the cockapoo puppy continues to make bold moves as he gains confidence with new people and rocking off leash obedience.

🐾Bonnie the Bernese mountain dog puppy is perfecting her obedience in public working towards a therapy dog career.

🐾Poppie the Australian shepherd is working towards off leash freedom, learning how to let loose and be a dog to help resolve reactivity.

🐾Rosie the mountain dog/aussie doodle is gaining a strong foundation with commands and mastering a productive game to fulfill *alllll* the drive she has.

🐾Izzy the Shih Tzu is gaining confidence in new situations while her mom learns to effectively satiate her drive and athletic ability.

🌊And lastly, all the Goldens got to jump in water.

I am out for spring break starting next week!

Meet my newest little firecracker friend, IZZY🔥🔥

Izzy is all of 10lbs soaking wet. She’s spastic, never stops moving, has endless energy, chases squirrels, runs the fence line, barks in excess at times, is wild when guests come over, and has a selective recall.

If your small dog fits this description too they may have loads of unfulfilled drive!!!

I could watch her go all day. We now have her set up with an outlet for all that drive. Next up is getting her off leash, more socialization and strengthening obedience commands. I love little dogs, let’s go!🫶🏻
