🐴💙 MEET THE LESSON HORSES: JESSE! 💙🐴

Jesse is owned by Ella, and I’m so incredibly grateful that she shares him with our lesson program. Having a horse like Jesse in our barn is such a gift!

Jesse is truly one of the kindest souls. He takes care of his riders, big and small, and is the kind of horse you can count on no matter what you’re learning. Whether you’re building confidence, learning something new, or just enjoying time in the saddle, Jesse is always ready to do his part.

He’s half Saddlebred, half Morgan, and 100% GOOD BOY!

Horses like Jesse are what make a riding program so special. They teach us more than just how to ride — they teach us patience, confidence, trust, and what it means to have a partner who takes care of you.

We love you, Jesse! And a huge thank-you to Ella for sharing this wonderful boy with us!

🌟 STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: MAGGIE 🌟

Maggie is not only a dedicated student, but also a horse owner who understands that being a horsewoman is about so much more than what happens in the show ring.

Maggie and her family own three horses: Apollo, Justin, and Ollie. Maggie shows Justin in Country Pleasure, but what truly makes her stand out isn’t just her time in the saddle. It’s the love, dedication, and hard work she puts into her horses every week.

Maggie is the kind of kid who puts her horses before the sport. She understands that being a good horsewoman means showing up, putting in the work, lending a hand, and caring for your horses even when there isn’t a ribbon or a show day waiting at the end.

Whether it’s helping around the farm between lessons or sticking around to lend an extra hand, Maggie is always willing to pitch in. Her dedication doesn’t go unnoticed, and her willingness to work hard says so much about the person and horsewoman she is becoming.

At Cobblestone Stables, we believe that the best horsemen and horsewomen aren’t defined by the ribbons they win, but by the care they give, the work they put in, and the relationships they build with their horses. Maggie is a wonderful example of that.

We are so proud to have Maggie as part of our barn family and can’t wait to see where her hard work and love for her horses take her!

🎃🐴 WHAT A SPOOKTACULAR DAY AT COBBLESTONE STABLES! 👻🧡

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate Halloween with us today! Seeing so many smiling faces, happy kids, and families enjoying time with our horses made all the hard work worth it! We hope everyone had as much fun as we did!

An EXTRA special thank you to all of my amazing helpers!

Events like this take so much time, planning, preparation, and hands-on help, and I truly could not have made today happen without you. From setting everything up to helping with the horses, running activities, and making sure everyone had a great time, you all went above and beyond. I am so incredibly grateful to have such wonderful people in my corner! ❤️

Cobblestone Stables is about more than just horses. It’s about community, making memories, sharing our love for these amazing animals, and creating a place where people feel welcome. Days like today remind me exactly why I do what I do. 🐴❤️

Come meet the horses, tour the barn, enjoy Halloween photo ops, snacks & c***r, and more!

🎃 Halloween Horse Experience | $35/child | 1:30–3:30 PM
Kids ages 4+ can groom and decorate a horse, enjoy Halloween riding games, crafts, games, trick-or-treating, and a goodie bag!

👻 Costumes are encouraged! 🎃

Space is limited for the Horse Experience, so message us to reserve your child’s spot or for more details!

Today, our 24-year-old Fred (Stay Gone) trotted into the show ring and won his championship class in a competitive 8-horse class. And while the ribbon means so much, what Fred represents to us means even more.

Fred is a true breed ambassador. He goes from patiently carrying little kids in up/down lessons to stepping into the show ring and proving that age is just a number. He has taught countless riders, given so many kids confidence, and somehow always knows exactly what his person needs from him, even if he’s a grumpy old man while doing it.

At 24, Fred is now dealing with a hoof condition that means he can only wear a keg shoe. Because of this, we believe today may have been his last horse show. If it was, I truly cannot imagine a more perfect way for him to retire. ❤️

A huge thank you to Layllah Brenner, who piloted Fred so beautifully through that competitive class and gave him the ride he deserved. And to Daytona Mueller, who also had absolutely beautiful classes with him. I could not be more proud of both of these girls and, more importantly, the way they love Fred. They understand what a special horse he is, and it shows every time they sit in his saddle.

They say a free horse is never really free… but Fred has given me so much more than he has ever taken from me. The lessons, the memories, the kids he has taught, the confidence he has built, the ribbons, the laughs, and so much more. It seems only fitting that this was Cobblestones first Grand Champion. 🥹❤️🐴
