🚨 TRAPPER NEEDED: New Haven, CT
🏠 TEMPORARY FOSTER NEEDED

A rescue has committed to taking Mom, Dad & their older kitten IF they can be safely trapped.

The rescue cannot hold a foster spot indefinitely without knowing when (or if) trapping will happen. They need to keep available openings moving so they can continue helping other cats in need.

Once this family is safely trapped, the rescue will work to place them in their next available foster opening.

We need a temporary foster who can hold this family until the rescue has an opening available.

Please let us know if you can help with trapping or temporary fostering!

📣 PLEASE SHARE!

Mama and Her Kittens Are Safe Inside. But Three Cats Are Still Out in the Cold. The November Six Need Us. 🐾

🚨 Rescue Needed: Waterbury, CT 🚨

UPDATE: Mama and her two tiny kittens have been brought inside, but three of their group are still outside and winter is coming.

A dedicated neighbor has been putting out food and water every morning for months for a group of stray cats who made their yard home. Last week two kittens, about 4 weeks old, appeared. The friendly black cat who had earned this person’s trust turned out to be their mama. This person tried for months to get help before finding us, and has now taken mama and her babies in.

Meet the November Six:

🏠 Now safe inside:
🐱 Mama: black, thin female, friendly and trusting
🍼 2 grey kittens: about 4 weeks old

🌙 Still outside:
🐱 Grey male with black stripes: thin, will get close but not yet touchable
🐱 Grey male with white paws: skittish, does not approach people
🐱 Grey chunky cat with black markings: skittish, does not approach people

About the group:
⚠️ None are aggressive
🍽️ The three outside cats are still fed and watered every morning by their advocate
⚠️ None are vetted or fixed, and with kittens already born the cycle needs to stop

They need:
🏠 Rescue placement for mama and her kittens, who are indoors now but cannot stay long term
🪤 Trapping assistance for TNR of the three cats still outside
💰 Pledges to help cover vetting, spay/neuter, vaccines and care for all six
📢 Shares: every one counts

This person has shown up every morning for months. Let’s show up for the November Six the same way. 🤍

🛑 Please note: Our rescue is currently closed for intakes due to several ongoing medical cases and TNR projects.

📢 IMPORTANT: We do not have the manpower to monitor comments. If you have any questions regarding this post, please message us directly. 🐾
