So I can’t stop thinking about this funny story regarding Dexter and the Chipmunks. 🐿️

The first day I was housesitting, I saw him start to roll in something, and realized it was a dead chipmunk. I immediately scooped it up and threw it over the fence..

The next day, he found a nest of babies. He would not stop looking for them.. his owners said try saying, “Mamas home.” I was willing to try anything because he wouldn’t come for a treat he wouldn’t come for his name., he was determined to find more chipmunks. 🐿️

Sure, enough, the next morning he found one. There I am at 7 AM., in the backyard, in my PJs, screaming at the top of my lungs, “MAMAS HOME!!!! DROP IT!!!!!” MAMAS HOME”

Trully, everyone in the neighborhood could hear me and probably see me. The more I think about it, it completely cracks me up.. people are probably wondering why is it THAT important that Mamas home? Chill!

Unfortunately, the chipmunk 🐿️ in question did not make it, but that was the last one that he found. The babies managed to get out of town. And there was no more scream screaming like a banshee in the backyard.!!! 😂😂😂

Leaving for home today! Back to the world of unpacking 😩.

Hard to leave this guy. He’s been the best snuggler, and I forgave him days ago for killing the chipmunks 🐿️.
