🦄 Becky has only been with us for a couple of months, but it feels like she’s been part of the Southside family forever! Always smiling, effortlessly organized, and incredibly computer-savvy! She keeps our front desk running smoothly and our clients feeling welcomed and cared for every single day! 🦄 Evelyn is one of our Veterinary assistants that has been with us for over 6 months now. In that time, she’s shown nothing but kindness, compassion, and a true love for the animals and people we serve. Whether she’s comforting a nervous pet, chatting sweetly with clients, or jumping in to help out a teammate without hesitation, she always doing so with a smile on her face! Our July Unicorns of the month are Cacy and Denise!! 🦄 🦄🦄
(Sorry we realize we’re a month late-but when you’re dealing with unicorns this legendary, it takes time to find the right words 😄)

🦄 Cacy has been with us for several years and is our amazing lead receptionist! Cacy has a heart full of compassion, a deep love for animals, and is often the first friendly face you see when you walk through our doors!! From comforting nervous pets to supporting their loving owners, her kindness and empathy make a world of difference. Behind the scenes, Cacy is the glue that keeps our clinic running smoothly! She keeps us organized, on track, always ready to answer client questions, lend a listening ear, ease worries and provide the best care possible for your pet!!
We’re so grateful to have her leading the front desk with both heart and hustle! Thank you, Cacy, for all you do!!💞

🦄 Denise recently joined us and we’re excited to welcome her to the Southside family as the newest member of our amazing kennel staff! She has only been with us for over a month, but it feels like she’s always been here! From day one, she’s shown incredible dedication, a strong work ethic, and most importantly, a big heart for our boarding pets!! She’s already winning hearts with her hard work, and the way she makes every boarding pet feel safe, happy, and loved! Thank you for joining our team, Denise, we are lucky to have you! 🐶🐱💕

Join us in welcoming Dr. Jessica Manion to the team!🐾

Dr. Jessica Manion is originally from Gaithersburg, MD. She recently moved to Nashville to begin her veterinary career and build a life with her partner. She earned her undergraduate degree in Animal Science from the University of Florida in 2020 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2025.

Her professional interests include behavior, ultrasonography, and surgery. She is also a certified Fear Free and Cat Friendly Veterinarian, committed to creating positive, low-stress experiences for her patients.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Manion is an avid crafter, currently focusing on crochet and “junk journaling”. She can also be found keeping the peace between her cat and her partner’s beagle or staring at her two leopard geckos.

🦄Meg has been a receptionist at Southside for almost 2 years!
From warm greetings at the front desk to juggling calls, appointments, and comforting pet parents, Meg, does it all with a smile and a heart full of compassion. Her dedication, organization, and kindness make our clinic a better place every single day! Meg recently won an award for her exceptional skills at client communication! Congratulations Meg and thank you for your compassionate care and hard work! 👏👏

🦄Diana is one of our fabulous kennel assistants! Diana works hard to ensure every pet is safe, clean, and cared for like family! Whether it’s walking dogs, cleaning kennels, or giving extra belly rubs, her dedication keeps tails wagging and hearts happy! These two cuties will be ready for adoption in 2 weeks. One of our vet techs found them under a shed. The short haired is a boy(on the left) and the long haired is a girl(on the right). They are about 5 weeks old and will be FIV/FELV tested soon, will also have their first vaccination. Would Ideally love for them to stay together message us if you are interested.

Today is bitter sweet as we say goodbye to Dr. Top, and wish her all the best in her future endeavors in Washington! She has been with us since 2023 and will be dearly missed by her patients, clients and peers. She is an amazing veterinarian, co-worker, and friend! We love you Dr. Top, you will be greatly missed by all!!!
