Nashville Cat Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing cats and kittens from off the streets and from high-kill shelters and placing them into loving, permanent homes. All cats and kittens that come through our program receive superb veterinary care before they are adopted out to the public. Each Nashville Cat Rescue cat or kitten at MINIMUM is tested for FIV/FeLV, spayed or neutered, de-wormed, given flea preventative, and vaccinations appropriate for their age.

Meet Binx-

At just 1.5 years old, this handsome house panther has already lived through more drama than most cats experience in nine lives. After being left behind when his former family moved away, Binx spent time charming the neighborhood by following people on walks, asking for pets, and proving that he never met a stranger he didn't like.

Thankfully, a kind neighbor brought him to NCR, and now he's ready for his next chapter: a forever home where he can finally be someone's beloved indoor companion.

Binx is equal parts sweet and spicy. He loves head scratches, brushing sessions, and hanging out with his people. He's also a firm believer in personal boundaries and isn't afraid to communicate them. A little hiss? A gentle love bite? That's just Binx's way of saying, "Thanks, I've had enough affection for the moment."

Think of him as a cat with excellent communication skills.

Binx would do best as the only pet in an adult home or one with older children who can respect his space. In return, you'll get a loyal, entertaining companion with a big personality, a soft black coat, and a heart that's ready to trust again.

Frank-3ys. and Wednesday-2ys. are a bonded pair with the
sweetest connection. You’ll always find them together lounging
and enjoying each other’s company. Frank especially looks after
Wednesday.
Frank is a true lap cat and will happily soak up all your attention
while Wednesday is always close by content to be near her
people and her favorite guy. They’re playful, gentle and
easygoing which makes them an easy fit for a peaceful home.
Frank is FIV+ and came into rescue with an eye injury and had
it removed. He’s adapted beautifully and neither affect his day-
to-day life at all.
They’re looking for a home where they can keep living the
dream for the rest of their lives!🖤

She is a fantastic momma! She is sweet as can be and is very petite. She loves love and is constantly purring. She will be available for adoption after she has all of her vaccinations and is spayed.

Meet Chirpy & Mouse

Chirpy and Mouse are a bonded pair of sisters looking for a new chapter after their beloved owner entered long-term intensive care and could no longer keep them. They have adjusted beautifully to foster care and are ready to find a home where they can stay together.

Chirpy is a beautiful gray girl with the sweetest little chirping meow that earned her name. She loves attention and will gently paw her feet like a tiny horse when she's hoping for a head scratch.

Mouse is a petite brown-and-white sweetheart who lives up to her name. She's quiet, gentle, and a little more reserved, but once she feels comfortable, she's a loving and devoted companion.

The sisters adore each other and are often found napping, grooming, or simply keeping each other company. They are easygoing, well-adjusted cats who would make wonderful companions in many types of homes. They've even done well around friendly dogs.

After losing the only home they've known, Chirpy and Mouse are hoping for a soft landing with a family who will love them together. In return, they'll bring plenty of sweetness, companionship, and quiet joy.

Edmond is the sweetest Manx kitty and just loves being pet and doted on. He is a kind, loving cat considering his sad circumstances. Edmond was abandoned in a rural area and ended up in a very sad rural shelter with few resources to care for the many cats turned in as strays or abandoned by former owners. Edmond was very lucky to have survived his conditions as he was, along with others, on the euthanasia list. Edmond was seen by someone who just knew he did not belong in this situation and came into the care of Nashville Cat Rescue.

After careful vetting, Edmond became the biggest sweetie pie you could ever know and as a Manx, would be extremely devoted to a kind owner; they are known to be more like dogs than cats! You must be willing to give him the loving attention he needs. He is known as a rumpy! He has no obvious nub and is rounded at the rear with notable longer back legs. His body is also rounded, also typical of the Manx breed. He could have been a breeder discard for some reason, but he is a wonderful kitty, completely litterbox trained and is waiting at the Cool Springs PetSmart for his special person.

Mindy is so sweet. She was fighting it out on the streets for food with her 4 siblings and now she is enjoying the sweet comfortable life. She is very loving on her terms. She loves staring out the window and taking in the nature outside and she LOVES her squeeze treats. She growls for more but don't fall for it. She's learning to play with her toys and so far her feather teaser toy is her favorite (Included with adoption). She loves her head butts and to be pet while eating. She has come out of her shell so much since being in foster care. I know she will blossom into the full diva she is in her new home.

Meet Woody!
Woody is a chill, loving, affectionate 2 year old boy. He can be shy at first, but once he feels comfortable, he will roll over and ask for belly rubs. He can’t get enough pets and loving. He likes to be little spoon and is looking for a human who lets him sleep right next to them. He is great with other cats and is just a good boy.

Ali (The Greatest) 🥊🧡

Like his namesake, this little 1-year-old orange boy is a little fighter - but he’s also the biggest lover you’ll ever meet!

Ali had a tough start - someone unkindly tossed him out of a moving car, leaving him with severe road rash wounds all over his little body. 🩹 Thankfully, a nice lady scooped him up and he is finally on the mend and lovinggg his new indoor life.

Despite everything he’s been through, Ali has zero bitterness. In fact, he acts like he can’t believe his luck and loves every single human he meets! He will instantly crawl into your lap and headbutt you for cuddles. When he’s not demanding love, he is spending hours curled up in his very first cat bed, completely content and purring like an engine 🥰
