Nashville Cat Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing cats and kittens from off the streets and from high-kill shelters and placing them into loving, permanent homes. All cats and kittens that come through our program receive superb veterinary care before they are adopted out to the public. Each Nashville Cat Rescue cat or kitten at MINIMUM is tested for FIV/FeLV, spayed or neutered, de-wormed, given flea preventative, and vaccinations appropriate for their age.

🐾 Meet Jax & Lucky — Two Hearts, One Forever Home! ❤️

Meet Jax and Lucky, two adorable, 3-month-old bonded brothers who have been inseparable since birth! These best friends share an incredibly special bond. They’ve been cuddling since they were tiny babies and even wrap their little paws around each other as if they’re hugging! Whether they’re playing, sleeping, snuggling, or grooming each other, these two are happiest together.

Jax, the handsome little tabby, is sweet, gentle, curious, and adventurous, while Lucky, his beautiful black-coated brother, is just as sweet, gentle, and affectionate, often happily following Jax’s lead. Both boys have the most wonderful personalities and are full of love!

These playful brothers adore spending time together and enjoy all kinds of toys, especially colorful balls, toy mice, and wand toys. They even love watching cat games on YouTube! And when playtime is over, they’re more than happy to curl up together or snuggle with their favorite humans on cozy or fuzzy blankets, purring away and soaking up all the affection. They make the sweetest little companions, whether you’re playing together or enjoying a cozy movie night.

With their gentle personalities, playful spirits, and endless affection, Jax and Lucky truly are a special pair. Their beautiful bond is something you have to see to appreciate, and they’re hoping to find a loving forever family where they can continue growing up side by side.

If you’re looking for two incredibly sweet, affectionate companions to fill your home with happiness, cuddles, and twice the love, Jax and Lucky might just be your perfect match! ❤️

Both boys are domestic shorthairs, litter box trained, neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and FeLV/FIV negative. They’re ready to find their forever home together! 🐾

Chalupa (affectionately called 'Hank') is a strikingly beautiful, curious, intelligent kitten. He was born outside in a large colony of feral cats and was taken in. It took him a long time to warm up, as he is a bit timid in nature and makes you earn his trust. With churu treats and patience, though, it's not long before he lets his walls down and is in your lap, purring up a storm. He loves playing with toys and other cats, and he would appreciate going to a home with another social cat. He has had no issue with our small senior dog and seems very tolerant of other pets in the house. We can just tell he is a special boy, and he is still learning to come out of his shell. The right person for Chalupa (Hank) will be calm, patient, loving, and so obsessed with this beautiful, special boy.

Don't let her serious face fool you, French Fry has a sweet side. This super soft girl was found abandoned with her mom and siblings in a parking lot. Understandably, she can take a minute to warm up to a new human. But once you crack her tough exterior, you'll be treated to purrs and play. She loves to snuggle with her sister, Hash Brown, and she's fierce with a wand toy. She would love to be adopted with her sister or to at least have another cat in the household.

Acuff is an affectionate 7-month old whose acrobatic skills are unmatched! He is the perfect balance of independent and affectionate– loves to play by himself but will often settle into your lap for a cuddle. His hobbies include watching birds and squirrels through the window, taking naps with his people, “brushing his teeth” (see video), and playing with his favorite toy, the fishing rod!

Acuff often enthusiastically greets people at the door with a little “leg hug”! He is super sweet with other cats after warming up and loves to show them how to play, wrestle, and groom. He loves to sit and watch when people are painting and doing crafts! I call him my artistic apprentice.

Acuff is a fun boy with a soft heart and calm temperament. He would do well with another feline play buddy! He is fully vetted, well-socialized, and ready to find a forever home to bond with!!

Meet Nadja: A Beautiful Little Tortie with a Soft Heart.

Named after the delightfully dramatic character from What We Do in the Shadows, Nadja is a stunning, sleek tortoiseshell with impeccable taste, a weakness for catnip, and a love affair with her own reflection. She's never met a mirror she didn't adore, but the truth is, she's a total softie at heart.

At just two years old, Nadja has already lived quite the adventure. After losing her beloved companion Francis (her ""Gregor"") to the dangers of outdoor life, she was rescued and introduced to the finer things: sunny windows, soft beds, and humans who work from home and are willing to provide unlimited admiration. Haha. What a life!

She's quietly confident, wonderfully opinionated, and far more affectionate than she'd like you to believe. Walk away before she's finished being petted, and she'll call you right back. She's a total softie.

Nadja would love a home with a gentle, easygoing feline companion (no alphas!). She wants me to also tell you ""preferably a handsome white, silver, or gray tabby gentleman."" (Hey! She has a ""type""!)

Underneath that independent tortie attitude is a tender little soul who just wants someone to love. Give her just a few short weeks, and she'll be your best friend.

Our little bottle baby turned into the best kitten in the universe. Now it's time for him to find the best forever home.

**Meet Carbs: A Teddy Bear with an Old Soul and a Heart Full of Love.**

Found orphaned during a storm at just two days old, Carbs was barely bigger than a handful when he grabbed his very first bottle and chugged like he'd been doing it his whole life. He's been embracing every aspect of life ever since.

With enormous anime-like eyes, impossibly soft jet-black fur, and the most expressive little ears you've ever seen, Carbs looks like a living teddy bear. But his personality will steal your heart.

He's been a fearless, inquisitive little shadow who follows his humans everywhere, sleeps tucked beneath their blankets, and takes his daily routines very seriously. He plays hard, naps harder, and has never met a person or cat he didn't want to befriend.

Carbs is looking for an indoor-only home with a friendly feline companion, no dogs, and doting humans who want a lifelong little best friend. He's not just looking for a home. He's looking for his people.

Almond is a sweet kitten who loves to be played with and cuddled. He enjoys eating and is vocal if you're late to meal time. He would do well with another cat. He is used to being handled by older children. Almond has a strong preference for wet food. Fully vetted and 4 months old.
