PUPDATE: We adopted Jack in December 2025.We LOVE him so much! He has the sweetest, most gentle soul and loves everyone he meets. He loves car rides, laying in the sun and snuggling with his people and other animals. Our cat, Hazel, has become quite attached to Jack.

Jack and his best friend Pepper, plan on a lot of adventures this summer. Our daughter and ourselves have adopted 5 PAWS NE pups and each one has brought love and joy into our lives. Thank you PAWS NE, for your rescue of these incredible dogs who only need a chance to live their best lives and in turn we live our best lives!!

Meet Penney 💕 She runs, plays, zooms, and loves life—she just does it with her own special dance moves. Think "happy-go-lucky goofball" with a built-in comedy routine! 😂

Penney is house-trained, crate-trained, dog-friendly, and loves her people. She can't live with cats, but she can absolutely fill your home with love, laughs, and tail wags. Different? Yes. Limited? Not a chance.

Meet Rocco 🖤🐾

If you’re looking for a fun-loving, goofy best friend with a big heart and even bigger potential… Rocco might just be your guy.

Rocco is a handsome black-coated pittie boy who brings a perfect mix of playfulness and affection. He’s still very much a young dog at heart, with lots of puppy energy and a love for games—especially chasing a ball or working a flirt pole like a pro. He’s smart, eager to please, and very trainable… he just needs someone willing to keep showing him the ropes.

Rocco is great with other dogs. He also has been introduced to cats on several occasions and has shown curiosity rather than aggression. A confident, dog-savvy cat that is comfortable around dogs and unlikely to run would likely be the best match for him

Rocco can be a little unsure in new places, and with new people at first, but with a bit of patience and reassurance, he settles in and lets his sweet, snuggly side shine. Once he knows you, he’s all about cuddles, car rides, and being part of your world.

FOSTER or ADOPT? Please….

Meet Brady — 100 pounds of ridiculously handsome dog looking for a foster or forever home. ❤️

Brady has been with his family since he was a puppy and is deeply bonded to his people. He absolutely adores his human siblings, has a Frenchie best friend at home, and regularly attends daycare where he does great with dogs of all sizes.

But as Brady has matured, he has also become very protective of his home and family. With several young children in the house and friends constantly coming and going, it’s become stressful for everyone — including Brady. His family loves him very much and is making the heartbreaking decision to look for a calmer environment where he doesn’t feel the need to be “on duty” all the time.

What Brady needs:
📍A lower-traffic home without kids and constant visitors
📍People willing to let him decompress and settle in slowly
📍 A home where he can relax, feel safe, and just be a dog again
📍 Possibly another dog companion, as he truly enjoys other dogs

This is not a “bad dog” situation. Brady is a loved dog whose environment simply may not be the right fit anymore. We truly believe a calmer home with experienced, patient humans could make a huge difference for this gorgeous boy.

And honestly… look at him. Someone out there has to be looking for a giant, loyal, dog-loving best friend.

PUPDATE: Life with our boy Bob has been absolutely wonderful. As his foster Mom Kelsey told me when we first talked, he is simply the best boy. He loves to run around outside, cozy up on the sofa, and snuggle up at bed time. He has mastered sit, stay, down, paw, and even “kiss”. He is the best.

Huge thanks to Paws for making our dream of puppy family-hood come true!
