Foam Sweet Foam is tomorrow!! Pre-purchase only, no door sales. When noon hits, that’s it until the next one.

Three hours of foam. Every September birthday pup gets a shout-out and a surprise. Vendors, a food truck, cold drinks for the humans, and a photographer catching the whole ridiculous thing.

41 events. 489 dog visits. **Zero safety incidents.** We’ve been doing this a while — tomorrow’s the biggest one yet.

I’m incredibly grateful to be recognized as a 2026 Gulfshore Business 40 Under 40 Honoree.

To everyone who nominated me, believed in an idea that started with a love for dogs, supported The Barkyard & Tap, showed up to an event, opened a door, offered advice, or simply said “keep going” — thank you.

A special thank you to Gulfshore Business , School of Entrepreneurship , Veterans Florida , and FGCU Veterans Entrepreneurship Program community for continuing to support entrepreneurs, veterans, and big ideas here in Southwest Florida.

41 pop ups later, this community keeps proving what I believed from the beginning: people need places to connect, belong, and just enjoy life with their dogs.

Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day is for the dogs who gave us everything and left paw prints on our hearts that will never fade.

Today, we remember the joy they brought, the comfort they gave, and the love they shared so freely. They were there for our happiest moments, our hardest days, and all the ordinary in between. Even though they are no longer by our side, the lessons they taught us, the memories they gave us, and the love they left behind stay with us forever.

This day is for the ones we still miss, still talk about, and still carry with us every single day.

Until we meet again at the Rainbow Bridge. 🐾🌈🤍

🚨 LAUNDRY REQUEST AT DAS 🚨

Our washers and dryers are officially being replaced, which means DAS is going to be without laundry for a few days. 😅

Enter Jimothy, our adoptable laundry supervisor, who has one very important request:

🧺 WE NEED TOWELS! 🧺

Do you have any old towels laying around that you no longer need? Jimothy would like to personally inform you that they have a very important future ahead of them: cleaning up after our dogs, cats and all the other daily chaos that comes with shelter life.

If you have towels to spare, we would be incredibly grateful for the donation!

Jimothy promises to accept them with dignity, grace and absolutely no guarantee that he won’t try to steal one for himself. 😂

We are also taking applications for 2-year-old Leo. This big, handsome boy loves swimming, boating and dog parks. He even picks up his own leash when he's ready to go for a walk! He's good with everyone but he may be too much around very small kids.
Leo is currently living in an apartment with an older owner who loves him but feels he needs more attention and exercise than she can provide.
He is on medication for seizures and has one every 3-4 months.
We adopt only to families in southwest or central Florida. If interested in making an addition to your family, please go to our website and fill out an application! Www.grrswf.org.
