We’re starting a new series here on JDPH’s social media: Employee of the month! For August we’d like to honor Karma, one of our favorite barn cats who passed away earlier this month. Karma did his barn job with enthusiasm, and always brought smiles to everyone who came to ride. He is truly deserving of receiving his first and only employee of the month award, and he will be sorely missed around the barn ♥️

Not a horse post buttttt….. Happy National Dog day to everyone’s favorite farm pup! He may be small but he’s mighty!! Rigby will use his sweet puppy dog eyes to con you into fetch for hours or sneaking him some treats 😂 when he’s not playing and snacking, he’s usually sitting under my coaches chair waiting for lessons to be done so we can play more fetch!

Last but not least on our Meet The Herd Monday is Dun Playin With Blondes aka Wranger!

Wrangler is a 2011 AQHA gelding who is full of personality and a love for attention. Wrangler is usually found waiting on a pet or chasing his friends around the field. He also has been known to do a trick or two! He is trained to sit and lay down on command!

Wrangler has a bromance with every gelding on the property and he’s not afraid to show it. His besties are Goose, Kenny and Solo. Wrangler is a favorite ride for everyone and is very easy going.

We are very thankful to the Arnold family for letting Wrangler be in our program!

This camp is open to beginner riders, with no prior riding experience necessary. From riding time to crafts, your child will certainly have a blast! If you’re interested in signing up or if you would like more information, please contact Jordan Dillenbeck. Our second to last Meet the Herd is Oh Wuta Nite, aka Tex! Tex is a 2013 Sorrel AQHA Gelding and is a crowd favorite at the barn!

Tex is a son of Gunners Special Nite and has the talent to prove it. He is a fantastic reiner and loves to do anything you ask. He even won his first over fences class with his youth rider! He truly is an all around horse. Despite is tall size standing at over 16 hands, Tex truly is one of the sweetest boys and loves being loved on. A fun fact about Tex is that he loves fruit snacks.
