Local author Amy Rhodes' book "Dear My Favorite Human" is available in our lobby!

There is nothing quite as sweet as seeing a child snuggled up next to the family dog. But what about the dogs who aren't as comfortable with his or her tiny human sibling?

What about the small dogs who need a more careful touch?

'Dear My Favorite Human' is a love letter from the family dog to their toddler siblings. It was written from personal experience with a two-year-old and his two four-legged siblings.

The book helps children learn what to do and not to do with their furry companions. It is a way to educate, encourage, and build safe interactions between the two while they grow together.
