This is Finnigan, who gets really nervous going to the vet. He had a dental cleaning and his Mommy made sure he was ready to go! By following this fear free protocol, Finnigan had a stress free experience!

First she padded the carrier and covered with blankets and sprayed Feliway about 1 week before, then left it out where he could easily access it. At 9:30 the night before he received gabapentin mixed in his favorite churro snack. At 6:30 the morning of the procedure he recieved more gabapentin. Having been accustomed to carrier he was even found sleeping in it so loading up was no issue!
