🐾 Buck’s Surgery Success Story 🐾

Buck, a sweet 12-year-old Terrier mix, was diagnosed by his primary veterinarian with a mass on his right thyroid gland. After additional diagnostics came back normal, Buck was referred to our hospital to discuss surgical options with our surgeon.

Following his consultation, Buck’s owner elected to move forward with a thyroidectomy that same day. We’re happy to share that Buck did very well through surgery and recovery! 💙

His owner was incredibly appreciative of the care he received, and we’re thrilled to hear that Buck is doing great at home! 🐶

Way to go, Buck! Wishing you continued healing and lots of love at home. 💕

🐾 Meet Chester! 🐾

Chester, a sweet 9-year-old Goldendoodle, recently visited our surgery department to have a mass removed near his thigh. We’re happy to share that our surgeon was able to successfully remove the mass with no complications! 💙

Not only did Chester do amazing through his procedure and recovery, but he was also the sweetest doodle you’ll ever meet! 🐶 He quickly became a favorite among our staff, and everyone was so happy to see him doing well after surgery.

🐾 Meet Ears! 🐾

This adorable 4-month-old Shepherd mix came through our Emergency Department after swallowing his toy whole—not chewed up, just swallowed in one piece!

After taking X-rays, our team discovered the toy had become lodged in his gastrointestinal tract and would need to be surgically removed. Our surgery team quickly stepped in and successfully removed the squeaky toy.

We're happy to report that Ears is recovering well and is already on his way back to being the energetic, playful puppy he was before his unexpected adventure!

Puppies can be quick, curious, and incredibly sneaky when it comes to getting into things they shouldn't. We're grateful Ears received the care he needed and wish him a smooth recovery.

Saving lives comes in all shapes and sizes ❤️🩸

Just like in human medicine, pets sometimes need blood transfusions too! From emergency surgeries and trauma cases to anemia, clotting disorders, and more.

We would like to introduce Achor, a very sweet 7-year-old German Shepherd Dog who has been donating with us since 2020! Canine blood donors are heroes, and we're so grateful for pups like Achor willing to lend a paw when other pets need it most. ❤️

Meet Dusty! 🐾💙

Dusty, a 1-year-old Siberian Husky, came through our Emergency Department after experiencing vomiting every time he would eat or drink. After taking X-rays, we discovered the cause — a rock lodged in his small intestines.

Dusty underwent surgery with our surgeon, who was able to successfully remove the rock and get him on the road to recovery! 🩺✨

We were so touched when Dusty’s owner stopped by with a sweet card and delicious treats for our team. Gestures like these truly mean the world to us. We love what we do here at Premier, and nothing makes us happier than hearing Dusty is back to his normal playful self! 🐶❤️
