Halloween is next Saturday.
1. Find a safe place away from the front door for your dog to prevent escapes and to protect dogs and trick-or-treaters.
2. Keep chocolate, raisins, and macadamia nuts secured out of your dog's reach.
3. Keep lit candles safely away from dog's noses and enthusiastic tails.
4. Keep your dog at home rather than takingit out trick-or-treating. Not everyone realizes that dogs can be spooked by people in odd costumes or scary animatronic decorations.
5. Also be sure to keep cats, especially black cats, at home. Bad people seem especially vicious at Halloween.

Missing my Borzoi sized training collar. Last used at the clubhouse on Friday 10/16. If found, please put it in the office with my name on it. Thanks,

Congratulations to all of our exhibitors at our Obedience Trials last weekend; you took a wonderful dog home with you. Also thank you to all of our MOTC members who volunteered to work the trials this weekend! Part of our club's mission is to encourage participation in canine companion sports and making local trials available makes that possible. Next month is our three day Rally trial weekend!

This month the Muncie Obedience Training Club celebrates 80 years as part of the Muncie and Delaware County communities. Many residents and their parents and grandparents have taken dogs through our classes over the years. Our classes are open to both purebred and mixed breed dogs. Not everyone chooses to get into competion Obedience with their dog, but every owner and their dog can benefit from foundation obedience training. Visit
