Meet our newest Emergency veterinarian, Dr. Lindsay Nickelson!

Dr. Nickelson earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Northeastern University and her VMD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation, she completed the EmERge Program at BluePearl, gaining advanced training in emergency medicine.

Originally from just north of New York City, she now resides in Manayunk with her husband, Dan, their energetic Australian Cattle Dog, Zoey, and their laid-back cat, Oliver. 🐾

She is deeply committed to supporting clients through some of their most challenging moments, building trust and connection with every visit. Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys exploring new restaurants and cuisines — and has traveled to over 75% of the U.S., including half the destinations mentioned in the song “Kokomo”! 🌎

Daylight saving time ends this weekend! ⏰

At 2:00am on Sunday, clocks will "fall back" an hour, giving us an extra hour of sleep (and snuggle time with our pets!)

As a result of the time change, pets may need extra time to adjust -- something to keep in mind when it comes to their meal times and bathroom breaks.
