Shelter Pet of the Week: Meet Sparky! ⚡️
-He’s estimated at 11 months old and a perfect, compact 40 Ibs.
-He’s never had an accident in his fosters house or his crate while he was with her and he slept through the night.
-He loves kongs with frozen peanut butter, ice in his water, stuffy toys, lying in the grass for extended periods of time and sitting in your lap likes it’s his personal nest.
-Dog friendly. Loves playing with his friends at the rescue.
-Walks well on leash. Part of his rehab was long walks and he loves them! He keeps a quick pace and would probably enjoy short runs too.
-Rides well in a car. Loves to sniff the fresh air while co piloting.
-He’s a good little swimmer. Not sure that he’d jump in the water on his own, but he’s been doing water therapy twice a week and seems to enjoy it.
-Smart boy! Sits on command and has been working on other commands. Treat motivated and always takes them very gently.
