It’s going to be a hot one today! As temperatures climb, remember that your dog’s paws are sensitive to hot pavement and asphalt.

Walk your dogs early in the morning or later in the evening when temperatures are cooler.

Make sure plenty of fresh water is available throughout the day.

Consider water play, swimming, or supervised time in the pool to stay cool.

The truth? Most dogs aren’t getting enough exercise, structure, or mental stimulation.

They were built to move, work, explore, and solve problems. Yet many dogs spend most of their day indoors with very little direction or purpose.

Exercise is important, but structure is just as important! Training teaches dogs how to think, make good choices, and exist calmly in our world.

Raven is a perfect example. When she first started training with The Dog Pros, she was a hot mess. Through consistency, structure, and effort from her family, she learned how to channel her energy and become the best version of herself.
