1 Corinthians 13:13 A few years back, I was volunteering at Moore Animal Welfare for my own sanity. I noticed a number of dogs being returned, because their adoptive parents couldn’t “handle them”. I checked around with local trainers and couldn’t believe what most were charging! I wanted to give people a mo

re affordable option and give the shelter pups a chance at a good home. NO CONTRACTS! We only use the least intrusive training techniques (positive reinforcement). NO Pinch, Prong or Shock collars Ever! We simply charge per session, so you tell us when your satisfied with your pups progress. At Tipsy Dog, we pride ourselves on integrity and honesty. We work with your family and your pup to ensure proper follow through. We believe everyone in the family needs to be involved, and know what to do, to ensure your four-legged family member is and remains happy! We specialize in fearful, anxious and hyperactive dogs. We train in everything from basic obedience to more advanced obedience and behavior modification. We welcome any challenge and will come up with a plan of action to solve all ranges of behavioral issues. We will soon be located at 920 SW 4th St in Moore. Prices: $60 a private 60 minute session at our facility.
$70 for a private 60 minute session at your home (tips appreciated) within five miles of our facility. ($5.00 a mile outside five miles). All dogs are required to have current vaccines. (Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella)

Right now, Norman Animal Welfare is caring for 227 animals.

That includes:
🐶 81 dogs
🐱 146 cats

To put that into perspective, our shelter was designed to comfortably house approximately:
• 60 dogs
• 44 cats

And that number only works if every kennel holds just one animal.

We have already converted every possible space and are relying heavily on foster homes to keep animals safe and cared for. Currently:
• 104 cats are in foster homes
• 8 dogs are in foster homes

Even with that incredible community support, our shelter is still at maximum capacity.

Kitten season is hitting hard across Oklahoma, and animals continue to come through our doors every single day. Our staff is working tirelessly, but we urgently need help from our community.
