February is National Pet Dental Health Month!
Just like humans, our pets need preventative dental care too! Does your pet have bad breath, discolored or tartar-covered teeth? It might be time to set up a pre-dental exam with one our doctors at BCVC!
We know that brushing everyday is not always ideal for pet parents, so an annual dental cleaning can help prolong your pet’s oral health. Also adding in daily preventatives such as Plaque-Off powder or dental Greenies can go a long way to helping with their oral health!

Signs of possible dental problems in pets
• Bad breath
• Broken or loose teeth
• Discolored or tartar-covered teeth
• Abnormal chewing, drooling, or dropping food
• Reduced appetite or refusal to eat
• Pain in or around the mouth
• Bleeding from the mouth
• Swelling in the areas surrounding the mouth

We will be closing at noon on Tuesday, December 31st and closed Wednesday, January 1st for New Year’s Day! We will resume our reugular business hours on Thursday, January 2nd, at 8:00 am. Happy New Year’s to you all!

One ghoulish cat and dog will have to show off their Halloween costume cuteness in order to be hailed the BCVC Halloween Costume CHAMPIONS 2024 and take home the spoils!!!

A Veterinary Professional Associate (VPA) is NOT a mid-level provider like a nurse practitioner or physician assistant. It’s a mostly online degree with minimal hands-on training, not the expertise needed for your pet’s care. Prop. 129 jeopardizes the care Colorado’s animals deserve.

Low-Cost CAT-only Spay & Neuter Clinic Montrose Animal Services on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 12TH.

Registration date from 10/9/2024 at 10 a.m. IN PERSON ONLY.
$30 for Spay or Neuter. $21 for rabies vaccine. If your cat has a rabies vaccine already, please bring the certificate.

You can register 1 female & 5 males per household.

We will take 20 females, 40 males.

Low-Cost DOG only Spay & Neuter Clinic for NOVEMBER, 2024.

Registration date: Thursday, 10/24/2024 at 7: 30 a.m.

$40 for a dog & $21 for rabies vaccine.

You can register 1 dog per household. First come, first serve basis.
You can line up as early as you like and wait. We will open the door at 7: 30 a.m. sharp.
