Rocking Horse Ranch Arkansas is the home of Becke & Billy Williams and a place to enjoy the outdoors while riding horses. Becke and Billy are both lifetime educators in the public education systems of Texas and Arkansas. On retirement after 36 years, Mrs Becke earned her PATH International Therapeutic Riding Instructor certification in order to be better qualified as a riding instructor. Instructi

on is available in Western and English riding to students that are able bodied as well as special needs riders. Contact us for a visit to the ranch to meet us and our horses. Riding Lessons can be scheduled based on availability.

Afternoon temperatures are high near 100. We don’t ride if temperatures are 95 and above have a heat index of 95.

Riding is cancelled for the summer due to heat and school openings. Parents will want their children to have a good return to school routines. I want that for you too. Riding starts back with the Fall session September 1, 2025.

Riders at my PATH Intl center finish with a ride around my obstacle area. I have a mailbox mounted on the fence that gets decorated for seasonal activities. After Easter I took the cover off. A new one goes up for Spring during May. With the theme April showers being Spring flowers
Todays rider said , “you took the cover off the mailbox!” LoL. To keep it interesting I said wait and see the new one next week!

The ranch is open again for riding!
I closed down because all my horses had pinkeye, caught it from face flies that came here traveling in a horse trailer. The fly masks were on for 4 days with treatments 2 x a day. Thankful they healed

Many of you know I was a masters level school counselor 26 yrs. 18 at Monticello Intermediate, 6 at Fordyce Elementary and 3 at SEABEC the vocational school at Warren High School. ( love vocational work)
In the 1980’s ARkansas education took Character into the classrooms with School counselors doing classroom Guidance, teaching Character Counts!
ARkansas was one of the few states to have elementary counselors in the early years of school counseling.

As we vote this year, consider the issues, consider the candidate.
