We are making way for the 2025 Mayhaw crop! We are selling our frozen berries from 2024. Cost reduced to $40/gallon bag.

We also will need help harvesting berries beginning around April 25th. You can help for a day or for the entire three weeks. We provide waders and tools. It is fun but it is also work. And don’t forget this is done outside with mother nature’s influences possible. To harvest mayhaws you will need to wade out in a pond and scoop them from the water

Call Bobbie to arrange berry pickup or to discuss harvesting for us. Bobbie’s number is (850) 508-2607

We have five rescued 10-month-old female Anatolian Shepherds looking for their next home. These sweet dogs were raised in a 220-acre pasture with goats and have great potential as working dogs, as that's all they've ever known.
They are a bit bashful and not fully socialized, but we're working with them daily. None of them show any aggression, and they've always lived outdoors. Their previous owner moved to New Mexico, taking his goats and male dogs with him, leaving these girls behind.
If you're interested or want to learn more, please reach out for discussion.
Feel free to ask questions or share this post with someone who might be a great fit for these beautiful dogs

Found these during Farm Tour at Golden Acres Ranch. Contact us if you recognize them.

Our Story

We are a small, family-run, artisan ranch in the panhandle of Florida. We raise sheep and goats, board pets, have Farm Tours and make jelly from the native Mayhaw trees on the property.

We raise Tennessee Fainting Goats to sell to families for pets, w**d control or breeding. This breed of goat and their cousins, the Mini-Myotonics are perfect outdoor pets for children.

We also raise wool sheep for fiber products. We maintain our herds and flocks at sustainable levels and they are all pasture-raised naturally, without pesticides or hormones, in a non-stressed environment.

We board dogs and other family pets. We have a combination of indoor and outdoor facilities for all types and sizes. We especially love dogs, and keep Great Pyrenees livestock guardian dogs on the property to protect the sheep and goats. They live outdoors with their particular flock, and every year or so we breed a female for puppies to sell.
