We were established in 1989 by Dr. Reginald D. Dr. Jordan was later joined by Dr. Robert M. Purvis, D.V.M. Together they built a reputation of personable veterinary care that we still practice today. We have three veterinarians on staff to provide high quality care for your pets and livestock: Drs. Matthew C. Davis, D.V.M., Carrie Lee B. Baxley, D.V.M., and Jeffery William Cone, D.V.M. llness examinations, vaccinations, diagnostic evaluation and medical treatment, and a variety of surgical procedures for small and large animals (pets and livestock). Meet the team Monday:

This week is a little bit different; we are not highlighting one of our staff's pets but one of our long-time employees.

Sue

Many know Sue as one of our long-time receptionists. She has been with us for the last 24 years. She is officially retiring.

Retirement: not an end, but the start of your biggest adventure yet! It's been an honor working with her over the years. We thank you for the laughs and making work fun. The team here won't be the same.

Sue would like all the clients to know how much she enjoyed chatting with them, getting to know them and their pets, and will miss seeing the smiling faces of friends made over the years. When asked what she will miss the most she said she would miss seeing everyone and working beside Peggy.

Happy retirement Sue! You earned it!

Meet the team Monday: Employee Pet Edition

Everyone, meet Oakley!
Our clinic goofball.

Oakley is one of our favorite lap dogs that loves to smile at everyone. He can be seen in the clinic around lunchtime where he also begs for food and waits patiently outside of the breakroom for his next snack. He is also a talker who is always playing with his sister Lady.

His mom says he is the boss at home keeping his siblings in check, and a pillow thief. He loves going on car rides and spending his time sitting next to Peggy waiting for a snack.

Everyone, meet Willow!
Our quiet sweetheart

Willow also has a very important role in our clinic. She is our other in-house blood donor.
You may not see her very often around the office because she loves sleeping in her fluffy bed. If you do see her in the office, she is not far from the treat jar or someone eating a snack. Willow and Titan are the best of friends and love to pose with one another.

When Willow is not in the office she can be found begging for treats at tractor supply. She loves going to North Carolina to explore and loves going to the beaches here in Florida. She has 4 brothers (2 cats and 2 dogs) that she loves to snuggle and play with. She also knows how to shake hands, give high-fives, speak and catch treats off of her nose.|

Everyone, meet Titan!
Our extra lovable big ball of energy.

Titan has a very important role in our clinic. Not only is he one of our in-house blood donors but he is also the pup everyone goes to for hugs. He can usually be heard more than seen around the clinic. His favorite pass time here is to look through the exam room window, and lounge around outside. Titan is a very special boy who is full of energy and a lover of all. He greets everyone with enthusiasm.

When he is not at the office he likes to go fishing with his owners, play with his 6 other siblings (2 dogs and 4 cats), and steal the space next to you on the couch.

Everyone, meet Ivy!
Our blanket destroying Eeyore.

Ivy can be seen around the office at any given time. She is always making us laugh with her playful attitude. She is a 1yr old XL bully that's full of personality. She is usually heard walking down the halls before you see her. She is a bit shy around new people, but once you befriend her, she is a lovable goofball. She is always looking for her next snack, carrying around one of her many toys or following around her mom, Lydia. She likes to swim in any body of water; at home she is always playing with her big brother Boss.

Everyone, meet Ramsey!
Our sassy one of a kind Frenchie.

Ramsey (Ram Ram) is just one of those pups that you see and just fall in love, and that's what happened with Renee. She is full of sass, when you see her, she is usually sitting in someone's lap or scratching their leg for attention. As a baby she would keep Midget's place warm when she wasn't here.

Ramsey likes to travel, chew on sticks and listen with those radar ears. She had a brother named Blue who we all loved dearly, most of you have probably seen him running around the office making us all laugh.

Blue was a once in a lifetime dog. Last week he passed away unexpectedly. When you saw Blue, you couldn't hold back the smiles. He was one special dog. He loved to cuddle and lay upside down when he was being carried through the office. He will be missed by us all.

Meet the team Monday: Employee Pet Edition

Everyone, meet Midget!
Our part time front desk employee.

Midget was found by a good samaritan on the side of the Hwy 90 and our wonderful employee just couldn't say no to her. In the mornings you can find Midget lying on her bed on Peggy's desk snoring or sharing a snack. The little ball of white fluff is always on guard and alerts the staff when other pets make it around the front desk.

Midget is one of a kind, she likes to cuddle, travel to West Virginia with her family and play in the snow. During the colder days you can find her sporting a cute sweater.
