So it's been a little bit since I've posted so I guess I should catch up. I've been going to more shows this year and my girl has been doing her thing. We went to Elkton and received select a couple of days and a OHBOB ( owner handled best of breed) 1 day with a group 3 that afternoon. Then in Perry, GA, Gwen took select and OHBOB 3 of the 4 days and then a group 1 and two group 2. And just last week in Tampa Ch. Karasar's Effulgence "Gwen" went OHBOB 2 days and a group 1. I am so proud of my girl, she has been showing her heart out and competing against some beautiful hounds.
in Tampa we also did another first. Our fourth generation of "Carmen" showed and showed for her first time in Junior Showmanship. For those of you that don't know, this is where kids 9-18 compete against each other for their handling abilities. These kids are our future of dog shows and handling. So our little,( not so tiny) went in her second day in a class of 11 kids and won her class. Outstanding new handlers in the making and she is now one of them. I'm so proud of Carmen Isabel Grace "Izzy". I can't wait to see the future.
Thank you to everyone who has helped along the way both in the breed and in Juniors. Kerrie Kuper , Caroline Wells Cope and K Maylar. Thank you to all the juniors who gave pointers and took in a new friend and competitor.

Happy New Year from Casa del Rocio Grooming, Boarding and More to all of you. Here is to a New Year full of cold noses and wagging tails. Looking forward to seeing all my buddies here soon. Also hoping to make it out to more shows this year. Thank you all again for a great 2024 and here is to an even better 2025.

Well it's the end of 2023 and it's the first full year of Casa del Rocio Grooming, Boarding and More . I want to thank everyone here in Monticello and surrounding areas for being so kind to me and always so helpful. You guys have put the word out there and helped grow this business and I can't tell you how much I appreciate it! A very big thank you to my husband Joseph Waldrop for standing behind me, believing in me and keeping me from going completely crazy. My parents for believing in me and telling me every chance they get. My daughter Brie Pratt for saying it was ok to go work at the same place with her and teaching me so much. A huge THANK YOU to Stephy Hinson-DeBose and Bran Hdebose for taking me under your wings and helping me realize a dream. Without your teaching and pushing everyday to do better, I would not be here now. And last but not least Kerrie Kuper, you allowed me to come back to whippets and allowing me into the Karasar family and teaching me so much more. All of you have giving me back what I had to give up a long time ago. I am back where I belong doing what I love because of all of you. I could not imagine my past years and my future without all of you. I leave 2023, grateful and thankful to all of you, and look forward to an amazing 2024 with all of your continued friendships, love and support. Thank you everyone
