‼RESCUE ONLY‼
NOT AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC ADOPTION**
We are seeking a 501c3 rescue for a group of four young, highly social kittens currently in our care. 2 male, 2 female
Two of the kittens have (females) tested positive for FIV on initial screening. However, given their age, this result may reflect maternal antibody interference rather than true infection. Follow-up testing will be required to confirm status before they are eligible for adoption, unfortunately, we do not have the means to hold and retest in 4-6mths here at the Shelter. The remaining two kittens (males) tested negative, but because all four kittens were fostered together in the same home and have had continuous close contact, protocol requires that they be transferred together as a group to rescue rather than separating only the two positive-test kittens.
All four kittens are friendly, affectionate, and well-socialized. They are playful, people-oriented, and comfortable with handling. Visually, they are healthy, bright, and well-presented, with great potential as companion animals in a variety of home environments.
2 females are 8wks old, 2 males are both 9 & 11wks old
They have received the FVRCP vaccine.
These kittens would thrive in rescue placement where they can continue appropriate medical monitoring and receive a second round of FIV testing at the recommended age to confirm true status.
We are hoping to secure placement for all four together as soon as possible but no later than Monday June 22nd. NO PULL FEE
