Ms. Ruby tipped the scales at 29.5 lbs today! Hard to believe she’ll be 4 months old on October 12th. From the moment she walked through our door, she was part of the family — no questions asked.

These days she’s all about playing fetch (a daily must now). Her “zoomies” are something else… she thinks she’s flying but honestly, it’s more like turbo-turtle speed! 😂

She’s doing great in her home crate, potty trained, and picking up the basics, but soon she’ll be heading off to Wagner K9 School for the real deal training www.wagnerk9school. I’ve known the Wagner family since I was an early teenager — they trained our very first Doberman, and later we got one of theirs, “Dixie.” She was absolutely beautiful and such an amazing dog.

I’ll forever be grateful to Ombra Nera Doberman for trusting us with Ruby. I still don’t know how we got so lucky, but I sure am thankful every single day that she’s ours.

Sarge and Lola practicing their down-stays at Wagner K9 School. Sarge and Lola graduate Saturday after 4 weeks in school. Such good puppies! Just barely 5 months old and on their way to being wonderful companion dogs.
