Flea and tick season is here!
With the rise in temperatures, we have seen an increased number of ticks in the field next to our hospital. Please refrain from walking your pet in the field prior to your appointment to avoid carrying them into the building. If using the field after your appointment, be sure to check your pet for ticks afterward.
We recommend using a heartworm, flea, and tick prevention year round, but especially as these warmer months approach.
