Gotta love puppy's first time! Sometimes it's a great experience, sometimes a nightmare, but usually a little of both! 🤣 He was scared of just about every step of the groom at first but once learned he's okay and not going to get hurt, warmed up quick and was a good boy.

Mom says he's a full Shih tzu. He's not been trimmed on, never had a hair cut, this is just how he looks. Natural Mohawk, chest full of hair, and mittens on his front feet. She loves his look so we just neatened up what was there - not a drastic difference from the first two photos to the second two. He's cute and extremely unique!

One of the hardest things of being a groomer is we cover every square inch of your pups and will often notice things the owners don't.... And subsequently have to deliver possible bad news.

This is Lulu. We've been bathing/grooming her almost every week for 4+ years. To say she's a special one would be an understatement. Noticed an abnormal lump in a spot that could go unnoticed without being very familiar with her anatomy, notified the owner, got it checked out, and it's stage 4 liver/lymphatic cancer.

Obviously that sounds like a death sentence but it's within the means of the owner to get the treatment done. It's only been two weeks and the growing lump is undetectable.

This is an unconventional post, and she's obviously not out of the woods yet, but we're super glad to hear good news and hope it stays that way!
