Meeka update!!

She’s been doing so good within hours she’s was back to herself and wanted to go go go (of course she’s not going lol she’s still on strict pen rest) but she gets around like she did before the leg still playing with her toys and when she gets to go out to potty she just wants to run and play 💜

Meeka is home and resting! Her amputation went as good as it can and she was so happy to see us and especially my son who is her favorite person 🫶🏼

She is till hopped up on pain meds and sleepy meds and will have to be confined to the kennel for 14 days which is going to be the hardest part for her as she’s soooo active and wants to run with the kids all day lol

Alright we need some good vibes for Miss Meeka!

Our sweet girl broke her lower front leg around Memorial Day from jumping off something wrong she was in a cast for 7 weeks because it was a clean break and the vet expected it to heal nice and quickly but unfortunately when we went in for her check up and cast off I was in complete shock that her foot is not healing and is actually worse off so she is going in tomorrow to have her Front Leg Amputated because it is gone and I’m a nervous wreck😭

They only plus side is she has absolutely no feeling in her leg anymore so she is resting very comfortably awaiting tomorrow.

So please have Meeka in your thoughts for a safe and quick surgery and recovery 🫶🏼
