Three Adorable Kittens Looking for Forever Homes! 🏠

We have three 3-month-old kittens looking for their perfect match! These brothers have been living in a loving foster home for a month and are well-socialized with children.

They are healthy, current on their dewormer/flea meds, and have already had two rounds of vaccines.

🐱 Grumpy: Playful, curious, and loves belly rubs!
🐱 Doc: The life of the party; he knows how to make fun out of any situation and loves head scratches and cuddling.
🐱 Sleepy: A bit shy at first but very playful; he’s a natural peacemaker who would love a home with other cats.

$75 adoption fee covers their upcoming neuter, microchip, and final vaccines.. scheduled for June 11.

‼️ The True Cost of "Just One Litter" ‼️

Meet Carmie. She is barely a kitten herself, around 8 months old, yet she is currently fighting to keep eight tiny lives afloat. She is doing the impossible, nursing her own five 4-week-old kittens while also mothering the three kittens left by her twin sister who dumped them on her. And despite being fed, she remains painfully thin; her body is being drained to sustain a cycle that she never chose.

🚨 This is the reality of the stray cat crisis.
Every "oops" litter, every abandoned cat, and every unplanned pregnancy leads to stories like Carmie’s. Sadly, there were originally 10 kittens in this group.. now only 8 remain. This is the tragic, silent toll of feline overpopulation caused by the simple failure to spay and neuter.

📢 We are taking action.
Carmie will be spayed today. We are officially stopping the cycle with her. But what about the eight kittens? The reality is that we cannot break this cycle without your help. While we are immensely grateful to the sponsor who made Carmie’s surgery possible, the need for these kittens is critical. From basic medical care to the daily nutrition required to get them healthy enough for adoption or rescue transfer, the costs add up quickly.

It’s Raining Kittens ☔️🐱

We’ve had a busy couple of weeks here at BnB! Yesterday, we spent the entire day getting our newest rescues started on their health journeys. We successfully vaccinated and dewormed six kittens.. all between 6–8 weeks old.

• Willow & Cookie: These two were found as strays living outdoors, struggling with a heavy flea infestation. They are now safe in a wonderful foster home where they’ll get plenty of love from kids, dogs, and other cats!
• Nyx, Athena, Eros, & Helios: These four were born to a stray mama we TNR’d last week. They have been lucky enough to be in a safe foster home since birth.

We need your help to keep this momentum going 🙏 We just purchased a new tray of vaccines to cover these babies and three others we vaccinated last week, but we are already almost halfway through our supply.

This year has been overwhelming with the number of stray kittens needing help in the RGV, and we are working tirelessly to ensure every single one gets a fair start at life.

Remember Ariel? 🖤

The sweet cat trapped for TNR who turned out to be pregnant during her spay. After learning she had likely once been an indoor cat before ending up outside, we knew we had to try to change her story.

Ariel is still looking for her forever home or rescue transfer. She absolutely adores people and would be the perfect solo companion cat.

But today, we need help for Sasha—one of Ariel’s previous kittens 😔

A caring couple in the neighborhood has worked hard to care for and TNR the community cats. Sasha was one of the hardest to catch, until she chose their home as a safe place to have her kittens.

At only around 8 months old, Sasha is still a kitten herself, but now a mom. Her babies are about 5–6 weeks old, and it’s time to stop the cycle. We are getting Sasha spayed today so she never has to have litter after litter again.

Since starting our TNR program, we have fixed over 60 cats, reducing stray overpopulation while helping some find homes or rescue placement.

We urgently need $90 for Sasha’s care today to cover: spay, blood test, vaccines, pain meds, and preventatives.

It truly takes a village. We cannot do this without your support, fosters, and rescue partners. Together, we can help more stray animals in the RGV 🙏

Max is an 8-mos old Persian who came to us when his owner developed severe allergies. We are so incredibly grateful they chose to reach out for professional help rather than rehoming him without knowledge of the breed’s specific, high-maintenance needs.

Why Max Needs Our Help:
Persians are unique, beautiful cats, but they come with specific requirements that potential owners must understand.
• Daily Grooming: Their dense fur requires daily brushing to prevent painful matting.
• Brachycephalic Care: As a flat-faced breed, Max faces lifelong health challenges, including potential respiratory issues, eye irritation, and dental crowding.
• Safety First: Their anatomy makes them ill-equipped for the outdoors, especially in the intense RGV heat.
• Preventing Exploitation: By taking him in, we have ensured he won't fall into the hands of those who might breed him for profit.

The Good News:
We have secured a wonderful rescue partner in Virginia who is ready to take Max in! He will soon be trading our hot climate for much cooler weather where he can thrive.

To get him ready for his big move, we need to raise $75 to cover his neuter surgery and essential vaccinations.

From the field to a forever home: help Scooby take his next step! ✈️

For a long time, Scooby was living alone in a field behind a neighborhood. He was too smart to be caught, dodging every trap until he finally found himself in a backyard that wouldn’t let him run away again.

Thanks to a kind neighbor and a dedicated rescue team, Scooby is finally safe with a foster. He’s learning that beds are for sleeping and love is for keeping - though he still tries to pull his best escape-artist moves every now and then! 🙈

Now, he’s ready for the final step of his journey: his transport to a forever home. But first, he needs his medical clearance. 🩺

Scooby has his vet appointment today for his vaccines, disease testing, and neuter surgery. We need to raise $125 to cover these essential costs so he can be cleared for travel.

This stray momma cat gave birth where she felt her babies would be safest.. on someone’s balcony. Thankfully, the kind homeowner stepped in, fostered the family, and kept them safe.

Now the kittens are officially weaned, and momma has her spay appointment tomorrow so she never has to go through this again. This is exactly why TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) is so important - it prevents more homeless litters and stops the cycle of suffering.

We are currently in need of $75 to help cover her spay. The kittens will receive their first vaccines this weekend and will be available for local adoption or rescue transfer after their second vaccine.

🚨 DONATION REQUEST – KITTEN SEASON IS HITTING HARD 🚨

In less than one month, we’ve been asked to help with 8 litters of kittens. While we’ve been networking to get them rescued, only one litter of 7 currently has rescue placement. The rest still need rescue tags or homes.

Because of our warm weather in the RGV, kitten season never really ends. Cats breed year-round, and rescues are overwhelmed. The good news for these? Any mama cats found with litters already have TNR appointments scheduled to help stop the cycle.

Right now, we urgently need help vaccinating these babies. 💉

• 7 kittens are due for boosters
• 9 kittens need first vaccines

To save money, and to be able to help so many, we will vaccinate ourselves by ordering a tray.

🐱 $125 buys a tray of kitten vaccines
🐶 Another $125 gets puppy vaccines too

If we can raise at least $125 by Monday, we can order vaccines and have them by Wednesday.. just in time for these kittens, including 4 rescue-tagged babies leaving on transport next Friday.

URGENT: We Need Your Help for 3 Dogs Leaving on Transport This Friday

Three deserving dogs have a chance at a fresh start and loving forever homes, but we need help getting them there. Friday is their only opportunity to leave for a better life.. but before transport, they must get their health certificates tomorrow.

You all already helped us get them fully vetted (and we are so grateful for that!), but we need help with one final step. We are short $120.

Meet the dogs you’re helping:

🐶 Bambi – surrendered by her current owner… this is the second surrender in her short 8 months of life. No puppy deserves to feel unwanted.

🐶 Luna – found wandering the streets in heat, being chased by large dogs, vulnerable and in danger.

🐶 Alfie – survived on his own for so long that he grew into his collar, which became embedded in his neck. Despite everything, he still trusts and loves.

They have overcome so much already, and now they’re so close to leaving their painful past behind.

We need to raise $120 for their health certificates by tomorrow. No donation is too small 🙏
