Thanks for the shout out The Minneapolis Foundation!

Mother Nature may still be on the fence about spring, but we say yesterday’s weather was *perfect* for the Downtown Dash 5K. We loved sponsoring this event, spending time outside in this beautiful place we call home, and supporting Appetite For Change. Great job to our runners and walkers!

Join us for a fun community day filled with donation-based seeds and seedlings, free gardening resources, planter boxes, compost, free food truck tickets, raffles, and more to help you grow fresh food at home!

We’re excited to kick off the 2026 YTOP season! 🌱🎉

Recently, our newest YTOP youth completed their Foundational Workforce Development Training. Out of 50 youth enrolled, 15 were hired into paid apprenticeships across AFC’s Urban Agriculture, Community Cooks, & Meal box Program, and Youth Ambassador Leadership roles. 💚
