Today is my last official day working for our community's farm. I am sorting through all kinds of junk and treasure as I clear out my workspace. Here is a little jewel of CSA philosophy I found scrawled on an envelope.

"The exchange is not money for food, it's commitment for change. One of the things we are changing is food and how we feed ourselves emotionally, physically, mentally and socially"

It's been such a pleasure working here. I have nothing but gratitude for all of my time with the farm. Thank You
Jenny

Our first several sowings of carrots had very poor germination. These are some of the few that made it.
Not a lot but vibrant and tasty.
So far the final plantings for the season look like they will provide a more abundant harvest.
