The Cherry Hoggs’ story
While living in Australia for two years we started walking dogs professionally having a very successful walking pack of 20 pups per day ! At Cherry Hoggs we’re extremely experienced with all breeds, reliable and passionate about excelling all of our dogs. Maverick who we rescued and brought back from Australia (our giant baby Golden doodle) who is a massive part of the business and is on all shifts 🐶 This kick started our dream of owning our own doggy day care business. We’re from London, England which is why we chose the name Cherry Hoggs; which is classic cockney rhyming slang for dogs. So felt it was important to incorporate our background and a touch from back home.
Frankie has been professionally working with dogs for many years. Along with having a lifetime experience with animals, caring for her own and others her whole life. Growing up with both horses and dogs anything animal related comes natural to Frankie, and with the help of her having the 'smell' dogs are instantly attracted to her sweet and kind-hearted ora. Also having experience in sign language training, agility and breeding, dogs are her life!
Charlie is known as the is the piped piper of dogs at the parks, his unlimited amount of energy definitely rubs of onto all of our dogs. He loves giving all dogs a fun energizing walk and thrives of getting them all to their optimal fitness. He has boundless experience with all dogs and is ingrained in his personality to care for others. Dogs love Charlie as he bonds with them in a unique way, he loves to get to know every dogs’ traits on a personal level and then improve them to their needs.
We run Cherry Hoggs day care from our loving home 🏡 We are extremely driven to keep all our dogs stimulated at all times. They get two walks per day, 1-1.5 hour off leash pack walk in the morning and 30 minute on leash pack walk in the afternoon. They always have access to both our dog proof’d home and fenced in yard for playtime. We have stimulating routines for all weather conditions so our Cherries always have the best day, rain or shine. We love and think its important to give our dogs the best social life possible as we have seen first hand the benefits and huge improvements in our dogs confidence, social ques, fitness and human interaction. Our Cherry Hoggs are always making new friends and socializing, they get our undivided attention so are supervised at all times so there's lots of time for both play and cuddles. If there’s any areas you’d like for improvements please let us know and we’d be happy to help. We have successfully helped dozens of nervous more unsociable dogs out of their shells. We also provide pick up and drop off service upon request 🚕 Along with sending tons of photos and videos so you can see what we’re up to throughout the day and see how much fun your Cherry is having ❣️
