Bloomington Obedience Training Club We offer a variety of classes in Obedience, Agility, Rally, Conformation, and Flyball Paul metro area for more than 55 years.

The Bloomington Obedience Training Club (BOTC) is a dog training school that has been serving the Minneapolis/St. BOTC is run by a group of dedicated volunteer members committed to helping you train your dog to be a well mannered family dog or a competition dog by using a variety of positive motivational techniques.

Updated: Important Notice!

The obedience mats are scheduled for replacement next Thursday and Friday 9/4/25-9/5/2025. You will be notified ASAP if the dates change.

There will be NO Classes or Open Ring time in the Obedience room on those days. Missed classes will be added to the end of your package.

The old mats will be available for $2 each – they are serviceable, but cleanliness is not guaranteed. Each mat is just shy of 4ft x 6 ft. More details to follow.

Ready to unleash your inner agility champion? Join our beginner agility class on Tuesday nights at 5:30 and get ready to shine. Teams must have completed foundations courses and be working on all obstacles at full height. We're focusing on mastering the fundamentals: strong start lines, consistent contacts, 6 weaves, and short sequences using various handling skills.

Do you and your dog want to earn a CGC title?

CGC is open to all dogs–purebred and mixed breed. There are no age minimums or limits for participating in the Canine Good Citizen program, because yes, you can always teach an old dog new tricks!

AKC CGC requires that the dog demonstrate 10 skills to show they are a polite member of society.
