Well spring is here so here’s a brief recap of the winter! Lots of winter farm projects to get us ready for the season. In December, with help from we put in a wash station in the greenhouse! (Slides1, 2, and 3), received several seed donations (thank you , , , , ), watched the cover crop and the mushroom compost grow (thank you ), covered the cover crop with the help of , made a seed library in the farm office, and built a boot cleaner. Phew! And that’s only just getting started. Stay tuned for our next post on our accessibility upgrades & current projects!

Our dear friend Brittany just lost her home and everything she owns in the . She visited the farm in December and helped install a new produce wash sink and boot cleaner for the farm! We met Brittany at a retreat 5 years ago and have stayed connected ever since. She had never before met anyone with a brain injury after living decades with one herself. If you’re a friend of the farm, you might know her as and been given her amazing pain cream! We are so grateful for her fun loving spirit, tenaciousness, resiliency and enduring presence in our lives. Today is also her 15th anniversary since her last brain injury. We are celebrating with you today and always that we get to learn from you, laugh with you and be loved by you.
